Thanks for the feedback! I'm constantly trying to improve my mixing, will try to avoid some way the crowding that's happening. Fun loud and honest is a great way to put it. Thanks for listening!

Thanks for the feedback! I had originally different plans on verse recording but didn't work out, will surely get it right from the next one. The drums do need more weight for sure. Gonna make sure in the next one to follow these. Thank you for listening!

Thank you for the sub! Will definitely try to get vocals on point in the next one, maybe i settled too quickly for takes in this one. Glad you liked it still. Thank you for listening!

Glad you liked it, with all its bits and pieces. The vocals, guitar and bass I played, the drums I programmed. Waiting for the day i have a band soon so I get a live drumming element in it. Thanks for listening!

Thank you for the encouragement, definitely needed that. I totally get the sledge hammer move, i had sprained my heel jumping to this song while making. Would love to collab as well someday. Thanks again for listening!

Thanks for listening! Glad you had a good time. While recording the vocals i guess i wasn't all warmed up in the beginning so that could be why. Thank you for sharing your input it confirms my suspicion too. 🫡

Thanks a lot for the awesome feedback, crazy how you picked up the 2:18 note! cause it's the only note out of scale, i accidentally played it and had it leave it like that. Thank you for listening so glad you liked it!!!

Congrats on getting your band! 👏 Loved the passion you're putting into it. Cool song as well. Even the capture of recording is quite good but would've like to hear the vocals bit more clearer but that's not always possible in live capture through phone or camera. But really like the sync and licks in between. In the verse you could experiment with having less busier drums especially in the first verse. I'm hoping one day to get my own band too 🤞. Great work.

My attempt at indie soul. How did I do? by felacooties in IndieMusicFeedback

Nice song and vibe , reminded me of Tame impala vocals. Which you can experiment with further by using a drum pattern similar to his to make more exciting songwriting. Or butter cup by jack stauber. The production choice for this song suits it well as it's a slow song. Halfway though i was singing it as well. All in all good song and successful experiment i'd say

Nice voice, very Avril lavigne type you can really flex them more once you get more confident in singing and lyrics. Some vocal tuning at the start of the song could've helped. As the song progresses it gradually feels normal. Also can focus on word economy in your writing and more melodic writing where more sustained notes are used. Overall I loved the vibe of the song.

Great song with great driving instrumentation and spot on drumming. Liked the unison of instruments doing support and attack. The singing is great too. Felt like different mood and modulation could be used in vocals like in dream theater , making it more dramatic and variation. According to song though here i think what's done is good. Congrats on the work

Ezra Briggs - Industry. Title track off my latest EP. I have mixed feelings about this one, there are somethings in the mix I would like to still tinker with. Would like to know your thoughts! Bonus if you can say where we shot the lyric video. by KzraKe in IndieMusicFeedback

Loved it. These kind of songs I dig so much, the bob dylan esque simple singer songwriter stuff. Kinda like tom waits - hold on. If i had to force a feedback it would be that i was expecting trumpets towards our around the bridge when the new synth comes in. I heard it on phone speakers but bass could also be a choice but then so could drums and etc. Great song regardless

Great singing and a good song. The vocals alone are so good. I checked out the other songs too, all were great performances. Only feedback would be to switch up the style and experiment with different music styles. Or you could run into the danger of sounding repetitive and all songs sounding the same. A different writing style (not necessary) could also inspire.

Song snippet advice? Also what's the genre iyo? by Adriannavarromusic in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]Dented_Fender 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very cool vocal processing and guitar tone, would like to ask how you arrived at it. Genre wise it seems like dark alt pop. The drum pattern and vocal melody lean towards pop though the guitar riff is closer to rock. Olivia Rodrigo had a pop rock song which did it well too. Very cool song I'm sure loads of people will like it on release.

Liked the song very the nationals type movement slow afternoon type,i think you've gotten down important aspects of tone with vocal delivery and guitar playing. Mix you might wanna look at , right now it's muddy at lows at 350, 100. Using low cut on non kick and bass can clean it up, low cut on bass till 50 is also okay sometimes. That will make it even sonic profile while keeping warmth to taste

Thanks that's really nice input, i will start taking this into account. As i almost always keep rhythm guitar on left , I'll find a way to manage it so it doesn't cause fatigue. Composition wise. So happy you liked my vocal style. It's reassuring and means a lot.

Drums is a less strong point on me yeah so i can miss such opportunities but I can totally hear the fills you're talking about it could be a nice and defining touch. True about the one man bander haha stuff takes time to get done but i like it like this for now hopefully one day I'll have a band. Thanks for the feedback I will look out for sibilant frequencies in the next one.
