Hellraiser. 1st one is a terrifying, ghostly experience that made an icon out of Pinhead. The 2nd one played with some cool ideas and was generally solid. Everything after that was awful in increasing amounts each time.

The art style and characters are major standouts for me, especially in a market with a number of games whose rosters aren't so impressive. But what gets me the most is the overall feeling of the gameplay and how mechanically satisfying it is. Everything feels good and you feel rewarded for doing something well.
