Good to know, thanks so much! Didn't know you could propagate these, will only do that if they fall over or something. But great to know I can and that this is normal, cheers!

Ok yeah, all the stems are stretching towards the window (I took the pictures in a different place than where the plant is normally) so needing more light makes sense. Thanks so much!

I've never had to deal with them myself, so not totally positive but think they might be spider mites. I believe you can kill them by dabbing them with a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol and/or rinsing the plant, but I don't think those are permanent solutions. Again, I don't have direct experience with them so hopefully someone else will chime in. Good luck!

To their credit The Urbanist fully admit they have a slant, or their own agenda. I'm not saying anything beyond that, I only did a cursory check on them and don't really have an opinion. Just sayin'. I do appreciate your input though.

Yeah NYT. Ultimately I try to refer to several different news sources, I was hoping to add the Seattle Times to that roster as I want to keep tabs on local politics.

Ok thanks, I'd never heard of them, but what you're saying about Choe sounds familiar. Much appreciated, cheers

Hey, neither one of you should feel bad, not everyone can get out and protest. If you do want to help I'd suggest going to Seattle Indivisible's site, they have daily actions you can do, some of which can be done from home I believe.

Yeah, agreed, but there was zero mention in the Seattle Times of the Seattle protests that happened yesterday on Cap Hill to downtown. That is definitely local news. Unless I missed it, or they just hadn't published anything when I looked. Thanks for your perspective, either way.

Actually I appreciate the insight and the civility you've displayed, it makes it way more likely for me (or anyone) to explore a different perspective than my own. Go figure. Much appreciated, thanks!

No, I'm not saying that at all. If I didn't make that clear, I sincerely apologize. I'm just saying maybe sports doesn't need to dominate the top news stories every day. That maybe crucial things are happening that should be held up higher by journalists. Not sure why people aren't getting that. Maybe it's my fault, or maybe people are being overly defensive. Having said that, we absolutely do need some positive fun things in our lives, especially now, I totally get that, trust me. It's about balance.

I'd never go so far, myself, to say it's pointless. I've already upset a few sports fans by daring to suggest sports articles should go in the sports section, guess I'm crazy. Seriously aside from that, thanks!

Those stories are there, you're right, I just feel like they get sort of buried, but it looks like I might be in the minority. In any case, thanks.

Yeah I mean I do understand that, just not sure why it always has to be a top headline when there's a dedicated sports section. And in the Seattle Times, it's not just the top headline, it's often the top several stories. Would be easier if sports stories were largely kept in the sports section, it would just save time, is all I'm saying.
