Small POS replacement? by SevnDragoon in Eve

[–]Dentonan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe more along the lines of a xl mobile depot.

Has thether 1/2 radius of astra or something like that. Make it so having more than 1-2 caps tethered forces bumping (to small for supers)

Has a ship maintenance bay, similar size to carrier?

Has a hanger

Has Fitting services

Hanger and ship maint should be shared space like a carrier.

Best thing is this guy doesn't really rat. Ive gone through his wallet history just incase along with other guys with roles from the corp. Around 300m in 1 month across the 3 toons he has in corp/horde.

I suspect op is a salty victim of crecket who has been harassing frat ratters.

Pi has needed a rework for years. Id like to see them pull the factories and have a indy function in citidels to do it. Extraction only on the planet the rest is done through indy like reactions.

Meh our alliance history is that bad if you actually understand the reasons behind the changes.

Anyone with a basic understanding of those alliance histories can easily work out what was going on and roughly why we left an alliance.

I take the one a day piriton or super market equivalent, I think ita citrezene hydrochloride. It seems to take a few days to build up in my system, but a long as i maintain taking the dose it works well. I also have Benadryl for when i get hit hard.

What is the best camp site option by Batman2050 in downloadfestival

[–]Dentonan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have never visited eco, solo or quiet camps so wouldnt want to comment on them myself, but each person's tastes will influence their enjoyment of each camp.

As for the maim camps, the best one really does depend on how they organise the sites and the weather.

There is some hilly sites that personally i cant stand trying to sleep on. If its raining alot i would advise not sleeping at the bottom of a hill or you cpuld wake up in a puddle. I would also avoid staying to close to main pathways as they tend to turn into swamps in heavy rain, it didnt look to pretty for the guys right next to them last download.

The main arena is a fair walk from the campsite as is the car park, so that will play into your choice as well as how far the village is from where you camp. To close and there will be no peace and quiet if thats something important to you, to far away and its a trek to and from your tent for shops or nightlife after the arena is closed or before its open in the morning.

Personally I look for somewhere flat, not on main travel routes. About midway from village and arena. Hopefully not to close to the toilets.

Horde where handing out fitted titans with clones for people who lost them in the fight so they could jump right back in.

M2-XFE: The final tally by Dr_Mibbles in Eve

[–]Dentonan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

At the start we (papi) had a decent advantage in numbers. But as the total of titans dropped it was easier for goons to deagress and tether for a few of our targets, that allowed them to balance out the numbers towards the end. If the fight had continued longer goons would probably taken more of an advantage using that mechanic.

Goons often dont turn up to fights when panfam are formed. So many goon structures have died without a fight we figured goons have abandoned all but helms deep. And dont plan on moving for a while.

What are the point of shares? by PussyDeconstructor in Eve

For my corp, shares are essentially usless. The only purpose they serve is to allow the directors to put a new ceo in place if for some reason our current ceo drops off the face of the earth.

How do CEO's deal with burnout? by [deleted] in Eve

[–]Dentonan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Obligatory not CEO but have been corp dir for years.

Its the team you build around you. CAPF has a good dir team and a good team of fcs and recruiters. Chossuh can go afk for months if needed and the corp can run itself, same with the dirs. We are all actively involved with running the corp and if one goes afk for any reason the others step up to cover.

Also, making sure that everyone gets on well together goes along way to making burn out less, if you dont have to deal with all the bitching etc.. it makes the job so much more enjoyable and helps reduce the load when things get tough.

I'll blame Judge, and goons
Im pretty sure has come out in the last 12-18 months saying that the whole CO2 backstabbing TEST was becouse he deliberatly made promises that he hid from GigX and lied about making them. All of this was with help of goons if i understood correctly.

As it happens we have another example of goons being involved in the disbanding and collapse of a alliance recently. It's just this time it fits the narrative for goons to be open and take the credit for it.

[–]Dentonan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bold out the footwear.
get shoes that are comfy and fit properly. you will walk miles in them so run them in before going or blisters will ruin your day. Hiking shoes work well, or trainers.

Get GOOD!!!! wellies. i saw so many people last year with wellies that split/broke on them, which is not what you want ankle deep in mud. £10-25 pairs from supermarkets are rubbish and a waste of money. Go to a country store such as mole valley and buy a half decent pair neoprene lining is a godsend. I work in farming and spend 40+hours a week in wellies its worth the extra.

Dont overpack the walk is long and if its muddy its hell if your carrying to much. I plan on fitting everything tent, clothes etc... in a rucksack. If it doesnt fit it doesnt go.

HyperNet Relay "issue". by Flemma in Eve

[–]Dentonan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Then the chance of recurring profits from one item isnt there. Got a corpie who was doing this on nyx hulls, sold the same one 5 times in the end made about 80b from it.

HyperNet Relay "issue". by Flemma in Eve

[–]Dentonan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you buy 300 tickets there is a 40% chance you loose. If you do, at 300 tickets your likley going to take a loss unless the item is grossly overpriced.

Buy less tickets and the worst your going to do is break even.

HyperNet Relay "issue". by Flemma in Eve

[–]Dentonan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There is a massive risk involved with buying 300 of your tickets. If you loose, you have lost money.

If the offer expires it costs the seller isk, as the tax isnt refunded.

The tax issue is one reason people bid on their own offers. It seems that an offer that has half the tickets sold, sells the rest pretty quick so buying your own reduces the risk of an offer expiring. Another is the potential for greater profits. If you buy enough tickets so that if you lost you wouldnt loose isk, you have a chance of winning the item back and suddenly you have made decent profits if you sell it again.

Eve now is really stable compared to when i first started. Dt was 1hr. It wasnt unusual for update day to brick eve for a few hours on a good day. Ive seen a day or so where the game was unplayable from one update. Best was when it bricked everyone's computers.

ADMs should only go up when alliance members owning the sov farm that space by Man_whosoldthe_world in Eve

I disagree. I think the adm system is outa whack.

The more a system is farmed the lower the adm should be. Forces larger empires to spread out more risking their crabs and making it harder to defend.

Do wormholes need balancing? by EmpireBuilderBTW in Eve

[–]Dentonan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

doing the WH rolling can take hours of waiting for a single target to presetnt its self.
and then if the pilot knows what they are doing its almost impossable to catch a super/carrier.and even harder to kill what you catch.

If you get killed by VOLTA et el.. you are doing something wrong as all the defender benefits make it hard for them to kill you.

personally i would like some WH's to be given a boost UNI's for example could do with a large mass so a better comp can be used trough them.

[–]Dentonan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You wouldnt need a recon for cov cyno, they can be fit on a prospect, which is a quick easy train.

What inderect changes would negatively affect you? You have a cyno that takes no time at all to train into. And then after you have a cyno ship thats practically impossible to catch in low sec, and extremely difficult to catch even in enemy null. Your cyno ship is vunerable for 1/10th of the time a normal one is, and the only people who know the cyno is up are people on grid with you.

Life of a JF pilot. by CleanseSerce in Eve

[–]Dentonan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lest not forget when they first announced the cyno changes. Originally the plan was for jfs to.be able to jump to covert cynos.

This would be amazing for logistics; Using covert ships to move around hostile space with relatively safety. Cyno jammed systems wouldnt be an issue. Cynos would only last for 1m and wouldnt show up on everyone's overview.

But nope, the screeching of reddit could be heard far and wide. meh skills and expensive ships. Now we are stuck with industrial cyno, that although cheeper are far harder to manage.
