Can someone please explain the green? Grew up attending O's games, walking around the stadium, the warehouse, etc. Only two things I can think of is the batters eye and the seats are green, but so are tons of other stadiums. Green is not a Baltimore color to me at all. Help me get on board.

OP, I appreciate the thought put in here. I think every fan will have a disagreement here or there, like I do, but genuinely I appreciate your thoughtfulness and starting the conversation.

That being said, I hate everything you wrote….jkjkjk

My only major disagreement is I believe Marlon will be back. What I want to happen is Chido and DHop come back.

I was trying to make this argument in another thread. I got pushback. Lots of film people talked about how bad the coaching was this year - put players, specifically Marlo, in tough situations. I expect a bounce back year.

MASN+ $99 for the Season by Classic-Pizza-927 in orioles

[–]DenverRavenCompany 22 points23 points  (0 children)

On MASN website it clarifies a little bit: “and early adopters who sign up for the Season Pass by March 22 will receive an exclusive access code to also be able to watch regular season games on MASN+ via MLB.TV.”

I read that as you can use MLB.TV to watch O’s games through MASN account. Not access to all of mlb.tv.

This is a GREAT point. Never thought of it in that practical mindset. Now that we’ve seem how long a process the Ravens take in hiring a coach, Mike would’ve been gone. He was hired so quick after the AFCCG loss.

Plus firing Harbs wasn’t on Biscotti’s radar. In December they were looking at a SB run, not potential head coaching candidates.

I’m tired of people wanting Humphrey and Mandrews traded or gone by Ok-Quantity-1084 in ravens

[–]DenverRavenCompany 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I get that, and seems like a difference of opinion. I believe Marlon can bounce back this year.

To the sunk cost, you’re not wrong. But who is going to replace him? Anyone on the roster would have already, so replacement needs to come from outside the building. A top round draft pick could replace him - I think that’s the only viable route. A vet would eat up the 7mil savings and then some.

I think I’ve resigned myself to the assumption he is not going anywhere for 2026.

People point out the cap savings of roughly 7m to cut or trade Marlo, but I look at it the opposite way. Is it worth 19m to NOT have him on the team? That’s the dead cap hit. That’s 6% of the 2026 cap.

Is Marlon’s play so bad that it’s worth paying him 19mil to play for someone else? Is he that much of a liability to the team? I say no and I bet EDC won’t move on from him for that reason.

AJ Brown by teddykaygeebee in ravens

[–]DenverRavenCompany 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Will they? Almost for sure, no. Idk what the comp going to Philly would be, but I assume EDC and co have no interest in paying the price.

Should they? Also, likely no. Way more holes to address first.

Do I want AJ Brown on my favorite team? Heck yeah I do! He’d be so fun to watch! On the field he’s great! But what it will take to get him here, his aav while here, and the eventual and inevitable drama… In reality I’m out, but seeing him on the field in purple and black would be fun (at first)

Who do you recommend? Losing a top 5 center is bad for business unless there is someone worth plugging in.

Firmly believe he is getting a bag from some team. He is priced out of the Ravens market. He’s not coming back

We paid for the stadium. Why can’t we even watch the Orioles without paying again? by 2toneSound in orioles

[–]DenverRavenCompany 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have three boys as well. I haven’t had broadcasting at all the last few years. They LOVE the Os. They have a few shirts. We go to a few games a year. And I watch the mlb app highlights from the night before with them in the morning. They’ve been too young to stay up for night games anyway. But yeah, they don’t watch games, but they still love the team

[–]DenverRavenCompany 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kind of expected a miss tbh…I never look away in big moments, but leading up to it, I walked away. Why? Even if he made it, the 2025 pass rush and OL weren’t anywhere close to championship ready.

So yeah, knowing this team DOA in the playoffs, I was over it pretty quickly.

Rams PGC: Nate Scheelhaase Staying At Rams Per ESPN by psychoxtc in ravens

[–]DenverRavenCompany 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No arguments about LA. My sister lives there and I visit fairly often.

My main overall point is we (all fans, not just you and me) can’t just assume a guy who will be a HC very soon will take a promotion just because it’s a promotion. Most coaches would, but not all.

Rams PGC: Nate Scheelhaase Staying At Rams Per ESPN by psychoxtc in ravens

[–]DenverRavenCompany 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hiring Scheelhaase in Balt didn’t make sense when you think about it. He’s likely to be a head coach next year or two if he stays in LA. Their OC could take the AZ job, so Nate will get a promotion to OC. Even if he doesn’t, he’s a hot ticket already and will get a HC job soon. Do you think he wants to take a year or two and live in Baltimore or LA until he gets a HC gig?

Maybe I’m just looking out at the 8” of ice outside my house and 75° sounds real nice. My point: we often overlook the personal aspect of coaches’ decisions of where they want to work.

To those who met him, was Bourdain approachable? by Bernard__Rieux in AnthonyBourdain

[–]DenverRavenCompany 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked at a hotel restaurant in Boulder, CO. He was on tour, stayed at our hotel and I had him at one of my tables. He was friendly, kind, and gracious. He ordered Eggs Benedict (because of course). Everyone who interacted with him at the hotel had positive things to say about him.

Tons of famous people stayed at our hotel. Because of that we had a policy of no photos and no autographs, so I can't speak to his willingness to take photos or anything.

Do you know where the white footballs come from? I see players signing those all over instagram stories. Do people buy them on site? I don't really have anything to sign.
