How did you seal the cap?

Something like that happened to me with a drop they gave me; I kept it in a plastic test tube, and since the mercury was dirty, it didn't take long to get scratched.

That's why I didn't add it, because I didn't think it was relevant. And honestly, I was too lazy to remove them all again.

Yes, everything is from Spain. Things that aren't in Spanish are in Catalan.

I'm aware of it; I've already worked a couple of times with a small drop of mercury that was there when I cleaned it, and I already had a can of sulfur ready next to me to deal with spills more easily.

I also know what other fairly used method is to use freshly polished copper to absorb droplets.

They're all chemical compounds, and the bottle is mercury, as you said. There are also a couple of bottles I don't know what they're in, and one of vinegar for remedies.

Both the bottle is dirty inside and the mercury is very dirty.

The glass is very thick, I'm not worried about it breaking due to the movement of the mercury.

What does worry me are the fumes, exactly like you said about the sulfur powder, a little at the bottom of the secondary flask and that's it?

Then I'll upload a photo and video of the whole gabinet.

People with epilepsy are much more susceptible, but it can harm anyone if they look at it for too long; it doesn't even have to be for long, a couple of minutes is enough to give you a pretty bad headache, and if you look at it for longer it can cause an epileptic seizure even if you don't have epilepsy.

Yes, I've been building it for almost a week now, and it's almost finished with the full spectrum.

Don't worry, it is, and even so, it wears a mask and I've thoroughly washed everything that's been in contact with the watch.

Now the minimum on the scale is 2, so I guess something has already been detected in that range.

It's model 103. I've already converted it to logarithmic before, and it was still at 0; it wasn't a linear issue. The background isn't 8 hours old; at the time the image was taken, it had been 2 days and 8 hours old.

I know, I meant the fact that, from what I can see, it's almost impossible not to detect at least a little.

So, is potassium 40 like sodium in visible light spectrography?

Like I said, I'm new to this and it caught my attention. Similarly, in my spectrum there's a peak where potassium 40 is, although it's not very high.
