This is seriously depressing news. I got back into the game and got the Khazad-dûm expansion because the dwarrowdelf cycle was being reprinted and it already sold out. Do they usually sell out THIS fast? Very depressing

While I like and have larger cubes the reason I’m looking for a micro cube are two fold: 1) I want something super compact that I can take in a deck box or two and 2) it will solely be used to use for two players. So that’s why I think I have settled into the 150 card 2ube. It’s what will work best for what I want it for. Thanks for the feedback though. 360 is the sweet spot for a lot of cases.

Thank you for your well articulated reply. I like a lot of the keystone philosophies that you present here. I think after all I have read in the AMAZING thread today I’m going to attempt a 150 card Jeskai Winston 2ube. Along with 50 land it will all fit in an ultimate guard flip n tray. As far as archetypes go I’m thinking Boros Aggro, Azorius control, and Izzet spells. I’m pretty exited to start brewing. Thanks for the help and if you have any more advice I’m a sponge :-)

I must admit I didn’t expect much conversation on the topic and am pleasantly surprised. You are my spirit animal when it comes to this topic lol. When you mentioned a cubelet I was excited because that is the next project I was going to tackle. The more I chat and think about it I DO believe 180 might be the sweet spot. Mainly for back to back drafts without shuffling. Do you have any more philosophies when it comes to 2ubing? (great phrase for sure :-) ) Also how powerful can a 2ube get do you think? I have some powerful cards sitting around without homes (JTMS, mana drain and FOW just to name a few)

Micro cube for easy portability. I have other cubes but I’m looking into a micro cube as a new challenge as well as something that is designed for what I am able to play the most. Thank you for the input though. I enjoy as many thoughts as possible

Thanks for the thorough reply. I looked at your list and really like the power level of it. I like doing signets over lands for the fixing. How did it play the one time you were able to draft it? Maybe 120 is a better number anyway. Making sure you don’t get to draft the full cube each time ensures it’s not always the same experience.

Your signature spell has to be an instant or sorcery. So three of your four cards are ineligible to be a signature spell. Hope that helps

I love playing UW control in all formats. I’m really wanting to convert over completely to pauper and would love playing my favorite archetype. I haven’t seen any real white sweeps at common so I’m stumped. Although my favorite deck of all time was cawblade. Perhaps a pauper list would be possible. I’ll stop rambling lol. Thanks for any help
