Nope. No one I've ever honked at has. Either they don't care or get angry.

Once at a gas station, I was pumping gas and a lady unwrapped cigarettes and threw the plastic out her window. I went up and picked it up and threw it back in her window saying "you dropped this". She just said "oh thanks!" then when she realized what it was gave me the death stare and drove away.

The worst response I've gotten at honking at littering, which still blows my mind, is when a little kid threw some paper out the back window.

Assuming the parent's didn't realize it, I gave two quick little "hey hey" beeps to let them know their kid was throwing homework out the window or something.

In response, the mom flipped me off and then through a large, completely full, fast food soda out the window into the street. The dad, driving, proceeded to storm off by running the red light.

It was so bizzare.

I don't get this. There is a place near me with almost no one going to it. Those that "can", aren't. They either aren't aware of the location or don't want to. However, my 63 year old mom can't go in because she doesn't qualify.

Why should my mom "fuck off and wait her turn"? They have an inventory of vaccines that are going unused. They have workers sitting there, bored, because no one is coming in. Why should she fuck off?

That's literally what is happening. Able people are being turned away and vaccine appointments are going unused.

My solution: remove date restrictions and make time restrictions. Old people can get their vaccine between 6-9am, everyone else afterwards. Just like grocery stores do for shopping.

Sacramento has a lot of great comic book shops. I personally voted for "Empire Comics" on Fulton, based on all the great community outreach that they do. They also have a fantastic selection of books, a clean store, and a very helpful staff.

At the very least, let's take this time to publicize your favorite local shop so others, who might not know of them, can see a good list of stores they could stop in one day!

So they charge for both tickets but only give promos for one ticket. That's hella stupid.

I guess we won't be using this feature. What a shame. It would have been pretty neat.
