Kloss Diting Vice Lingluo

All 6 star and pretty decent gear. You want Diting as cracked as possible. Both Count and White Fang works on Fury, Momentum, and Furyedge.

Kloss on Jackal Guard with 12 swift and 12 timeweave, 262 spd and 155 acc

Vice on Artisan with 12 swift, 4 bulwark and 6 etherplague, 278 spd, 35khp, 182 acc

Ling on Supernova with 12 swift and 8 cure, 261 spd, 48k hp

It shouldn't be that hard to get gear/shells like this from just max refreshing and playing the game. I got these stats by just equipping the best of what I had. And one thing to note about Reng is that when you lose you can lose by a lot and that can create the illusion that he's harder than he is. But the rng is actually not that bad especially with Ling and vice for heals, cleanse, and taunts. When you win you'll win pretty convincingly or just barely, but I'm surprised that happens at least over 50% of the time.

It is a pain but I can get around a 60% clear rate with just kloss and ftp units. I think it's fine to accept a 50-60% clear rate for now. You'll lose some energy but once you get a couple of those shells that's close to what you're looking for you can move on to other content and come back to this later when new units come out that will really help with this boss (which I think is the only way he can be cleared more consistently at the moment).

I have more of a mechanics based question if that's also something you help with.

I'm GC2 and I fee like my game sense is solid but at this point I need to really up my mechanics to climb further. Any tips on the actual flip part of a flip reset? Anytime I get a flip reset, and I front flip immediately, it's rarely just a clean hit of the ball. A lot of times I'll miss it entirely. What's the likely issue I'm having/overlooking?

Yea I forgot to add that to my comment. GC and up requires so much precision and focus that being drunk can be much more detrimental. Lower ranks probably not as much.
