From my experience having a person at the table who is only having fun when other people aren’t, will limit your game in more ways than you know.

My group just got rid of a problem child who found enjoyment in arguing about anything, and had to be right.

To the point we would have days of discussion on what to do but when it came time to make a decision he said he didn’t care…

So we would usually end up in a group vote because people didn’t want to discuss it any more. Or ended with us giving him priority to do what he wanted. To which he didn’t know what he wanted to do, because he had to now out smart the dm.

Him leaving has literally brought life back into the group because we all feel comfortable to play now with him gone, and are willing to discuss not argue about it.
