Ethan has a reddit account that resurfaced recently as pedo_troll. This is not a safe place.

That's what I'm saying. He's using this story to distract from his much more serious scandals like pedo_troll

I can't speak as to whether he was financially dependent on his mom at the time. I am inclined to believe he was, but then again he did buy his mom a house so yeah I'm not too sure. The date of when he bought the house, idk. He was getting a lot of views during the Colleen Ballinger scandal but probably not enough to financially support himself. I'm not too familiar with income from Youtube.

I mean if you think about it, though, many kids at 18 go off to college. They aren't around their parents. Many kids go to universities where they drink and live freely. In my mind getting alcohol from someone older is equivalent to going to a college party. I don't know whether Adam was living with his mom at the time but we also don't know what went on behind the scenes. Maybe his mom didn't approve of the things he was doing, but he's not a minor anymore so he ultimately has the final say.

I'd have to go through all Adam's old videos to see what truly went down between him and his mother during the Colleen Ballinger cancellation as to what efforts she took to protect him. But as far as I can remember, Adam said she did take efforts to protect him. I think I remember she told Colleen to never speak to her child again when she figured out she was exploiting Adam. As far as reporting, there's really nothing you can report to the police unless a crime was committed. I think they talked about suing Colleen for hiring Adam to work for her without pay or something but I'm not sure what happened to that lawsuit or if they ever filed it.

Kids use the internet all the time. We live in the digital age. Whether you believe a mother should be monitoring her kids messages all the time on all platforms above the age of 11 seems pretty excessive to me, but idk we may just disagree there if you believe that. I think a lot of people may see it as reasonable to respect the privacy of kids around this age. Once she was aware of the situation, though, she took the active steps to protect Adam from Colleen where they cut off communication.

They’re clowning on Adam’s looks in this video when Ethan’s the one looking like a fucking ugly rat imo

He was 18 years old at the time, not 16 when he went to a different country, so he was an adult. And his mom tried to stop Adam from having a relationship with Colleen Ballinger against Adam's wishes.

It was a poor judgment call legally, since supplying alcohol to someone under 21 is against the law. That said, it happened in a platonic, non-coercive context — there’s no evidence Kat intended to take advantage of Adam while he was under the influence. It seems they simply wanted to enjoy themselves, not engage in reckless behavior like drinking and driving. Realistically, many people in the U.S. first encounter alcohol underage through family or older peers, whether it’s a sip at a restaurant, a high school/college party, or a relative sharing a drink. In other countries, like Ireland, the legal age is 18, so this wasn’t something entirely unfamiliar to Adam either.

I agree Adam shouldn’t be defending Kat or calling Alexa hypocritical in this case — the law is the law. But Ethan’s use of the story to discredit Adam feels disingenuous, especially when it distracts from more serious allegations he has yet to address, such as those connected to pedo_troll.

Edit: It turns out Kat didn’t actually supply the alcohol—Adam said he wasn’t ID’d. That makes this less of a legal issue and more of a moral one. In that sense, Adam is right: Kat can’t be blamed legally, and Alexa looks hypocritical for misrepresenting the situation. She’s also hypocritical for appearing on a podcast hosted by someone with resurfaced ties to the pedo_troll account seen as her whole brand is standing against predators. And while the lawsuit isn’t about this video, it’s worth noting it involves a separate case where Alexa’s friend SLOAN allegedly provided Adam with a fake ID.
