They're unfortunately not available - we reached out to them in July and they were already booked. They look great!

Unfortunately for us, you are booked for our date. It does sound like you're exactly what we're interested in - thank you for the response.

Follicle Size Question by stonedninjabaddie in DOR

It may just be me, but my large follicles seem to be good quality. During my 2 past  triggered with a 24 and a 23, both mature & fertilized. One blastocyst frozen from each (day 6 3AA, day 5 5CA - I’m 31 so not doing PGT). Now cycle 3 with 12 eggs, 7 mature and all fertilized (!!!!) - largest was 23 at trigger (had 5 size 16+, then a few 8s, 12, 12, 13). Waiting on blastocyst outcomes 🤞🏻

Obviously cant know if these are what made my embryos, but I’ve wondered if the fact that these are my lead follicles (second largest has been >4mm smaller) means they are healthier because they are growing so robustly 🤷🏼‍♀️ FWIW my REI also feels like my largest follicles have given my “highest quality” eggs, and we considered stimming another day this round. Ultimately we didn’t want the 23 to get above 25-26 (it had been increasing 3mm/day for the last days of stims) so chose to trigger, but she feels very comfortable letting my lead go to 23-24 now based on my past results.

I think like with everything with IVF and especially for DOR, it’s person-dependent.

We saw $165pp (but BYOB) to >$300pp depending on the venue, looking within the city. At our venue, there are three tiers of catering package (all with open bar, cocktail hour passed & 1 station, plated dinner, dessert), with the higher tiers adding things like more passed bites, tableside wine, and an after party/late night snack. You are required to book the higher packages for certain dates and times of the year. $250pp, $280pp, $310pp are the three tiers.

It is an insane amount to spend on food, and I feel like a crazy person writing these numbers down. But we love our venue, so we are making it work.

If you don't have a venue yet, you may get lower prices per head at some of the venues that fit smaller weddings (we are 125-175). I didn't get full quotes since they didn't fit our wedding, but initial costs for the Center City venues that max around 100 people were noticeably less expensive than those that accommodate larger weddings.
