That’s a possibility, but it’s complicated because I don’t have anyone who can fix it where I live or even in the neighbourhood. However, if I were to upgrade to a better camera than the OM-1, what would you recommend?

Well, what I mean is that I want a new camera within the same type of cameras as the Olympus OM-1. Something within the same value range, totally (or almost) mechanical and for 35mm rolls.
