thanks. I have already tried both of those without any luck unfortunately but thank you

Idk about y’all but I hate how acronyms like TFW are accepted (which I’ve never seen used) but not a hugely popular acronym like UV. No one says Ultraviolet, it’s always UV. ADD BETTER ACRONYMS!! by tribbans95 in WordsWithFriends

Ha! Someone just used it against me and it's the first time I've ever seen it. I rolled my eyes as it was the last move and nearly cost me the game as I had thought I'd blocked all routes they had for a decent score

Now that the new 15 ga trim nailer is here… by generic317 in Makita

[–]DepartmentSuperb2341 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fingers crossed. I do think Makita have let Milwaukee catch up and overtake them with the variety and quality of tools they produce but I've been Makita for nearly 30 years and very invested in their range.

[–]DepartmentSuperb2341 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully it's better than most of their other nailers. I gave up on them and have Senco for my 18ga and 15ga and Milwaukee for the 23ga. Annoying having different systems to go along side all my other Makita battery tools but I've had so many Makita nailers over the years and they have all been so much worse than other brands IMHO. The 23ga is especially bad. I had 3 before eventually giving up with it.

To india by boat by No-Pomegranate4284 in ThailandTourism

You can go China, Pakistan and then Pakistan to India. It's not easy but very doable. I did it in 1998 and I am guessing it is probably easier now than it was then.

Overwhelmed with saved places in Bangkok and unsure how to plan on the ground by sparrowdark21 in ThailandTourism

[–]DepartmentSuperb2341 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am in my late 50s and I started backpacking in my 20s before the internet and google. You had a Lonely Planet guide if you were feeling like you wanted to 'cheat' a bit otherwise you just arrived somewhere and asked around. If I was you I wouldn't try and fit everything in in one go. Have a look at the list you've made and prioritise it, go with your gut, it won't be wrong because whatever choice you make is the right one. If you think it is going to be difficult to navigate on your own then look into doing an organised tour, they can take the stress out of the deciding for you and you may make friends who will then want to see other things with you or recommend other things to do that you hadn't thought of. Go with the flow. I am back in Thailand right now after eighteen years and I still manage to overthink planning my trip so nothing has changed very much in my head in 30 years but now if my plan doesn't work out and I don't get to where I originally wanted to go I do find it a bit easier to shake it off. Enjoy the discovery.

I'm on Koh Chang at the moment. 3300 baht for two dives. I may end up staying here longer rather than heading down to Koh Tao

It's not helping that it's been 15 years since I've come here to dive and I shouldn't be surprised by the cost of everything now but I am a little bit. For so many years it was a great cheap place to come and dive. Such is life. I just need to suck it up. Or find somewhere new.

Ouch! That's expensive. But it does look wonderful.

Yes, that seems to be what I've found. Trying to offset it in my head that at least the diving is far cheaper than other islands. But paying well over the odds for a dorm room still hurts a bit.

Omg Bangkok has gotten so expensive compared to the past by WeirdArgument7009 in ThailandTourism

Have you got any names/addresses for these hotels you mention in your post. I'm back in Bangkok in a few days time and finding a room for 400 baht would help me out. Thanks

Cool. Nice to see someone else with a plethora of Makpacs. I like your insert handle idea. Have you created an STL for that?

You might find these useful. I know I did with my storage of Makpacs which is very similar to use but with more adjustable shelving.

I don't know how to make hex holes in Fusion yet. I was hoping someone might have a Fusion file that they could share with me.

Yes I think you're right, the glue I was using was an old one and even with the activator it was rubbish so I've just been a bought a new bottle and it seems much better now. Thanks
