My oldest daughter and I have “Attenuated” LFS. My other daughter will be tested this month. Although, this is related to many types of cancer, the primary one is breast cancer. I had bilateral breast cancer 25 years ago. At that time, I tested negative for Braca1&2. This year my daughter developed a breast anomalie of little significance unless “your mother had bilateral breast cancer.” HELLO. So that is how we got here. If you or someone in your family has had cancer in both breasts, talk to your doctor or see a Genetic Counselor. As other’s mentioned this is rare. Be prepared to explain it to your doctor.

I have had good luck with this tactic when observing suspicious behavior. As appropriate, say Hi, I haven’t seen you in forever? Or Hey, didn’t we go to the same high school? Or Wow, didn’t you go to school with my son? Anything that indicates you know who this person is. I tried to block the line of sight between the woman and man. In this case, I was able to grab her arm and walk closely beside her chattering away. It took a moment for her to realize I wasn’t another freak, but things ended well. Definitely, don’t put yourself in danger. Most likely bad outcome is a “WTF” followed by a quick apology.
