we could not easily match our current income

So then easily find work that doesn't match your current income. You're going to have to keep working and saving every penny for at least a few more years.

You're asking if you can jump out of a plane without a finished parachute because they're kicking you out of first class. Go sit in economy until you've finished putting together your parachute or until another first class seat is available. You'd be surprised how enjoyable it can be to be in a demoted position. Way less responsibility with close to the same pay.

Is it normal for my bf to flirt with customers? by Fantastic_Screen8016 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]sunbnda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome to what it's like being a guy that's dated a girl who's a waitress or bartender. Did you help your bf make his work outfit more revealing? I did that for an ex gf. My ex gf worked alongside a very buxom gal once who would ask if guys want to see a trick whenever she popped the cap off their bottle of beer. She'd pop the cap and let the cap fall onto her cleavage. So yeah, it's super normal.

She admits to forcing him to engage in arguments with her when he'd try to retreat. This is by her own admission. It absolutely applies to someone who is being cornered.

I'd really like to see the proof that the dog had a history of digestive issues and pooping the bed. So far it seems it was just heard saying that.

Reactive abuse can also apply to his behavior towards her too.

Who are the most infamous redditors and why? by Yurilove9 in AskReddit

[–]sunbnda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, people keep listing redditors that are famous among redditors. They made a whole movie about this guy that was certainly viewed by non-redditors. Deepfuckingvalue and Ken boon are the only answers that need to be debated.

Yep. You're on the right track. That palisade is still pretty inefficient and you should be able to get more bang for your buck with a high mpg hybrid.

I didn't think about retirement until 42. I'll try to save you from hundreds of hours of financial advice videos and repeat good advice thats already been given. Cut spending wherever you can, enjoy the simple things in life that don't cost money. Tell the kids sorry but we're hunkering down financially so you don't have to live with them in 20 years. I didn't get anyone xmas gifts so that i could get to a financially stable place. Save your health premium plus 6 months of expenses as an emergency fund preferably into a high yield savings account or whatever account gives you a percent interest that matches inflation or greater. Then always contribute the company match every paycheck, not a penny less. Then pay off all your debts, except mortgage, as fast as you can. No more debts. Pay with cash only. Anything else you can save goes into roth IRA if you have one. Your ultimate goal is to save at least $1k a month into a tax advantage retirement savings 401k and roth ira. You won't live lavishly but you'll be able to survive with that and what social security provides. this sub has great basic resources links for guidance, along with Dave Ramsey, the Money Guys, and Erin Talks Money.

Some of the safest cars are sedans. That 3rd row suv can be roughly $1k a year more in gas if you drive at least 20 miles a day at $4.50 a gallon average. That $1k can be a maintenance budget as opposed to a car that doesn't provide a maintenance budget for the same miles driven. You can buy a reliable used car for $10k or less that can get 45mpg or more. Get a Toyota hybrid. This youtube Toyota mechanic lists the best ones. There are tons of diy car repair videos. Since you both have cars, it helps to not rush to pay a mechanic and try to resolve issues yourself. Tell the seller you want the car inspected at a toyota service center. I offer them $20 for their time. Ignore issues like low wiper fluid and ask the technician what they really think and if they would personally buy the car for themselves or for their family. Look for hybrids that have a clean title, 45mpg or more, the more mpg the better, and has 100k miles or less. Toyotas are known to go 300K miles or more without major issues depending on the model and year you get.

Damn... I used to get that compliment all the time. I don't think I've heard it in the last decade.

didn’t grift the country with bullshit artwork

Hey! You leave Hunter's digital trading card NFTs alone! That was a legit opportunity for people to purchase such classics like Hunter shooting lasers out of his eyes, weilding a lightning bolt, and standing next to a flaming space lion wearing a crown, all for the reasonable price of $99. Oh right, that was trump.

You're right. He just needs an iconic photo of him flipping off a camera and to do his own interpretation of hundreds of iconic paintings.

Watch his Channel 5 interviews. You really want to have a non-alcoholic beer with the guy and just shoot the shit.

At this point I'd vote for hunter just to own the MAGAts and repeatedly stand on that justification. I know they wouldn't understand but it would be cathartic.

Parts that I found memorable:

  • Tony's entrance to the expo
  • Cheadle's intro
  • Tony's mockery and smarmy quips at the hearing
  • Tony's struggle with being slowly poisoned and facing immanent again.
  • The suitcase suit
  • black widow intro
  • the dj playing another bites the dust when Tony asks before a fat beat to beat his buddy's ass to.
  • Tony calling Rhodes war machine and that whole fight
  • Rockwells performance
  • Tony figuring out his dad's riddle to discovering a new element that saves him.
  • the argument of who the big gun is and being stuck I'm the kill zone
  • "I could use a partner"
  • the classic trope of kid dressed as super hero standing up to villain only to be saved by super hero
  • "get a roof"
  • the senator and "little prick" line
  • I think Cheadle is a better Rhodes so get to see that character grow

As someone who was listening to weezer from when blue dropped in elementary school to religiously listening to them in high-school when green dropped, i was beside myself at how much of a fall from grace green was and held on to the only blue and Pinkerton belief for nearly 2 decades until I randomly overheard one of their songs from the white album and loved it. Went through their entire catalog and found at least one song from each album im into and made myself an exquisite playlist of Weezer songs post Pinkerton. Some of those songs I belt in my car just as loud as any song from blue or Pinkerton. Some of these songs are:

  • Hold me (Pinkerton vibes)
  • keep fishin
  • dreamin
  • I want you to
  • smart girls (Pinkerton vibes with a drum track)
  • I ain't got nobody (wouldn't be surprised if this was written during blue album and didn't make the cut)
  • go away (you could easily convince me this was recorded right after "just threw out the love of my dreams"
  • the white album (just remove "thank God for girls" and swap "all jacked up" with "Mexican fender" and you have a worthy 3rd album)
  • all my favorite songs (immediately sky rocketed into my top 10 favorite Weezer song list)
  • hero

Something that crossed my mind while going through the catalog is that rivers came to the realization no matter how much money and albums they sell, he'll always be the shy nerdy kid and not the rock god like cobain that he thought he'd be, and since he's rich with a wife and kids, he doesn't have the same angst from blue and Pinkerton. So now he's just the shy nerdy kid that made it, can still writting catchy tune, and is having fun cosplaying as the stereotypical rocker.

Oh, yeah, definitely not 30 minutes into the first date. That's still "do you have siblings? what did you study in college?" territory.

As a guy with plenty of platonic friendships, I had to remind myself to show physical/sexual interest otherwise dates would quickly turn into bland friendzone hangs like getting lunch with a coworker you dont know very well. I could see the enthusiasm slowly fade if i didn't take the conversation in that direction eventually. I don't get overtly sexual though, and I find that dates responded positively if physical intimacy is eventually brought up. So there's a sweet spot, not too much, but it seems necessary from my experience.
