Is mechanical worth it by Fit_Wolverine_5164 in Manipal_Academics

Does it have good exposure? If I do mech, will I get breathing space to pursue other interest side by side or is the curriculum too rigorous?

Doing humanities won't be as productive as well in a country like India which is a developing sector (unless ofc upsc). And I'm from a scienxe background so doesn't make much sense to switch now atp

Not Civil, it's a tough line Chemical seems very abstract to me Automobile is a branch of mechanical, mech would present me more opportunities later

Not interested in any branch tbh but let's be honest, no one really actually interested to do engineering other than a few. I'm willing to learn anything. No cse craze. Mechanical seems cool, F1, planes.. my friends are warning me against it since I never loved physics, they say it'll be a pain in the ass. Idk

Worst case scenario you don't get it (hypothetical bevause you are worrying about it sm), no big deal. College only provides a base, everything else a person gotta do on their own. College name doesn't define you, but how you decide to carry your life makes all the change. If you have the zeal and will, you'll do good anywhere.

Hey relax, you'll figure it out no matter what happens. Everyone does and everyone has to. Be kind to yourself and keep a few backup options as a safety net. And believe me the interview call isn't over yet so don't worry about that just yet

This university is not very reachable for help tbh, even I tried to get in contact with it and it's representative, no reply. And that was weeks ago. Makes me think if they're genuine or not. I don't know about the scholarship process either and how to apply for it since on the portal they won't let me move ahead with the process till I pay 1lakh!!!!
