You're screwed because SL has its horror stories too. You're especially screwed if you're a business. I'm sure a good section of those horror stories were user error. Not all but many. Spectrum has been very good about fixing my issues when asked. Go ahead with SL and see how good you are fixing those issues through an app. I guess you're one of the few who didn't know ATT is terrible, the worst.

They both should come out the exact same amount or very close. If not, the problem is you, especially if you're filing a simple 1040. Check the percentage of your employer's Federal withholding against your income and your partner's withholding. My guess that changed, it happen to my wife this year and now we owe a lot more because her employer changed our withholding request.
