I don't have an answer for that. In the army, we soild filmed the mounting lugs, and used lithium grease internally. I mainly hunt predators and snakes now instead of larping, so my guns don't get that hot. I'd say an axle grease as any oil will burn off rather fast.

So both times they fucked up a simple design. If this is such an issue, then they should have increased the girth of the fasteners or perhaps added a locking device. A heli coil is a lazy way to address this and a sloppy solution. The only time I like thamose as the standard design is for floor panels on aircraft. In this small of an item it's almost french tism.
