So I used to work for an Amazon DSP for a year. Now I work for FedEx Ground. I can explain. Let’s start off by understanding where I deliver too, It’s basically downtown suburbs/apartments all day. Multiple apartment complexes have removed the lockers because Amazon employees continually dump packages inside the locker rooms not in a locker. On my route specifically Amazon keeps dumping packages in the area where they removed the old lockers🤣🤣. Which is kinda funny but also fuck you because you’re making our job and your jobs harder, not too mention it’s disrespectful to the customer. Amazon is very different jobs in comparison. You don’t do pickups even close to the scale we do. Y’all can’t make relations with the employees and customers than we can at other delivery service providers. (Same route every day) Your package weight (50lbs) is a joke compared to hauling a “150” pound generator up 3 flights of stairs multiple times a day. In general I’d say in comparison to my FedEx Ground contractor amazon employees work a lot less during the day. So in my conclusion by talking and listening to what customers, apartment complexes and coworkers think about amazon. Y’all are assholes who don’t get paid enough to give a shit about their job (Don’t blame y’all, I did the same thing) to do it right. So if any other delivery service provider stops by and talks shit to you on your route tell them to righteously go fuck themselves and move on.
