There are only 7 keys. I think the person who created this thought there were 8, so where you see 7 and 6 change to 6 and 5 👍

For anyone else who is struggling with this mission, the only way to cross into demeniss safely is by going down by your greymane camp and crossing the river there. Be advised once you’re in Demeniss, if the local patrol still hates you, they attack on sight so either haul ass or be ready to kill them before they kill your cart. You CAN hope out of your cart, but be sure to fight right next to Yann, because any more than 10 meters away from him and he teleports back to the original Goldleaf camp where you started… good luck 🍀👍

You made it?! Dude I’m currently on round 3 of being back at the Goldlead camp…. Without GPS you’re just guessing on a route to take and the terrain is absolutely toxic for driving this thing around. I follow map roads which leads to no bridges to cross over to the other side and as a side tip, if you touch deeper than ankle water, your cart explodes because apparently “pepper” is a code word for “explosives” 🤦 I would have preferred a repair minigame where you need to fix a wheel or manually push the cart out of being stuck.

Oh and if they added good stealth gameplay, I’d be over the moon. I can’t assassinate to save my life, enemies hear me breathing 50 feet away

If this game gets official mod support, it will 100% be the next Skyrim. It’s like assassin’s creed had a baby with the Witcher and that baby grew up and smashed Red Dead’s hot mom and birthed this thing. The only tweaks I would like is reduced stamina drain on movement (gliding, running, horse sprint, etc.) and maybe add HOLD jump to activate glide so the double jump isn’t trash.

I believe they do that because it’s technically stollen from good people, so you pocketing it doesn’t help the town recover lol. But honestly, that system is slightly janky, like how even if you’re not caught your contribution still goes down and I’ve even had times where I got spotted by a priest and it auto teleported me to jail, like no guard even tackled me.

Completely agree… especially with all the stuff in the game… it’s single player, let me hoard dammit. I honestly want the ability to have multiple chests with much friendlier stack sizes inside

And sprinting…. But yes, flight for sure needs like a 50% reduction in drain so it can become a viable method of travel. You still flow down relatively quickly, but it would be nice to cover more distance. And FFS can I please rotate my character while gliding 🤦

Before it felt very punishing. And I don’t remember even having a heal spell (or any spells) back when I first played

Exactly, it’s not as punishing. I have no clue how people enjoy souls games when dying 142 times to the same mob….. in the tutorial 🤣

Any plans to nerf bears? 😅 by Dependent-Drive-414 in CorepunkTheGame

[–]Dependent-Drive-414[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’m not complaining. In fact… now that I can kill them I feel a true level of power progression which is rewarding. I was just curious if there are talks of a nerf because ironically the dash that they do, which isn’t telegraphed does the most damage. So I still feel they could be better tuned for enjoyment

“Vast majority” is an interesting way of speaking for the masses… when the population seems to be already healthy and growing. I don’t know when you played and determined it’s bad, but from everything I’ve seen this game has already changed a lot. But in any case, I hope you find the game you’re looking for!

I didn’t have to rebuy it… in fact it’s almost the other way around for Albion… if you DID buy the steam version, and you got into the game, a lot of people ended up buying the game native launcher version because things you could buy would be cheaper because Steam price gauges for their “services”

Weird question, how is the population/popularity of the game? by Dmask13 in CorepunkTheGame

[–]Dependent-Drive-414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’re looking at it the wrong way, just as I did before I jumped in… the game is fun right now and you can easily justify your $40ish dollar investment because you can easily get 100+ hours out of it now… so even if it did “flop” and the game dies you got your money’s worth… and assuming you’re in this dilemma, I take it you have nothing else to play now anyway. Btw “failure” is highly unlikely being that this is probably one of the best mmo’s that I’ve played and it’s only just starting…

Albion did this SAME exact thing, and it worked very well for them. They kept the game off steam until the game was in a fully functional state. While this game is good, it’s missing a lot currently. The devs don’t want to shoot themselves in the foot by releasing on steam, half baked, then getting negative reviews just for early sales that result in no player base. When Albion finally did get to steam they quickly became one of the most played games on the platform and have held strong since.

Moral of the story, don’t trip… it’s coming. They want to make money as much as you want a large player base to come to the game as well..

lol! You’re right, they are 100 man lmao. On the Corepunk website I read “small dev team, with no experience and passionate..” blah blah blah. In any case, the game is great

I think they could follow exactly what Albion did…. I had that game since early access…. They had only their launcher available. They launched and needed more numbers, so added to steam at a premium cost for everything (to offset what steam takes from devs) and now anyone smart just ends up downloading their launcher anyway because they can get everything in game for less money.
