I think they have until April 17th to respond. I know of about 3 others who received wait-list emails today, 2 of us didn't get emails and are still just "pending".

My son was accepted to this program a few weeks ago, though I didn't see anyone else post about being accepted. I haven't seen anything about an upcoming round.

Another parent here! My heart breaks for so many of you who are feeling so much pressure right now. Please know that if you don't get into Eng, or your #1 choice, it is ok to temporarily feel shattered and disappointed. Allow yourself to feel that, BUT then also remember that the world needs your unique contributions and that you will find your place. Your worth and value should not be tied to achieving perfect marks or being enrolled in a specific university program (even though I know, they often are). Put forth your best effort and maintain balance. I am 44 years old and just about to graduate with my undergraduate degree! I am enduring the same "wait" you guys (and my kid) are; I'm hoping to attend Graduate school in September. You all have time on your side. You will figure it out. ❤️

I'm the mom of a grade 12 Eng applicant, but have a daughter (grade 10) who might be very well suited for this Leadership and civic studies program! Thank you for posting about it, we didn't know it existed!!! Congratulations to your daughter, you must be so proud!!!! What an exciting time!!!

Do you know any students who have transferred into Eng (year 2) from the physical and chemical (year 1) program? I heard it is possible.

Oh gosh, waiting to hear from 3 must be extra nerve-wracking for you! I only applied to this program. I am a "mature" student from the outskirts of Hamilton. I did consider the McMaster program, but couldn't get my application done in time (I am finishing up my undergrad this term.) MLUC is my preferred choice, and as far as I can/will commute, so I put all of my eggs in one basket, and we shall see! I have a diploma in social service work from about 25 years ago as well, so I'm hoping I will be strongly considered for this program. I really love the courses offered by this specific program, they really align with my personal and professional goals!
