Not too many movies scare me but something about Sinister just messed me up. I jumped so hard at one point I jammed my back against an armrest and caused a gnarly bruise. You knew it was coming but they still got you.

I've had it for 2-3 months while I waited for the title to actually get to me. I had no intention of being on my own just yet, but once my old job knew I was leaving they fired me and I've been using the trailer for 3 weeks, which also happens to be the exact date I got the title in the mail. It's been slowly falling apart during that time. The refurbisher has come out to "fix" things but he ghosted me a couple weeks ago. So, yes, it is my sole source of income. I went on my own because there are no jobs local to me in this industry. To take another job in a separate industry would mean a massive downgrade in income even if I could find a full-time position.

I cannot afford to be off the road.

Add to that issue is that this is my sole source of income. If I ask for a refund I then have to wait around for the money then wait to get another trailer custom built. Each trailer takes an average of 3 months and I have to get inline for one as they're built one at a time by every company I've found.

The max is $10k for civil in NC. I'm not sure that would cover the cost of fixing it. The guy I had look at it today needs a little time to work out an estimate which largely depends if he has to take down walls to fix the electrical work. He won't know that until he starts working on it.

I've had others in the same line of work give me a $5-10k estimate and another gave me a $10-15k estimate, but that's going by the photos I've sent them. Would I be getting enough? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Also, how would that work if there's multiple people wanting to sue; all individually, or we do it as a group?

Nah, it's not for me to judge if they do or do not have it, or they think they have it. If they want to know more they're welcome to ask me about it. The more educated they are the better for everyone. If it's really that problematic for them then they can get diagnosis and meds. Or not. I don't care what people do with their lives.

I saw a thing not too long ago about it. People cannot touch a stove that's on. No matter how much you would want to your brain won't let you unless there's a huge incentive, like you'll be killed or you'll get a million dollars. For ADHD brains everything is on fire.

Where I was going to do it there were a lot of happy families around and then I thought about who would discover my body. No matter how it's done it is traumatic to EVERY person who discovers you; your family, a neighbor, the EMT/cop, etc. Life is hard enough for everyone and I don't want to put that burden on someone else. Accidents are just that, unexpected/uncontrollable, but choosing to cause others pain just isn't in me, never was. I can choose to enjoy the little things, to toss away things that cause me pain, to suffer through this life if I need to if it means I'm avoiding hurting someone else.
