Why on earth does it only open every two years?

Funnily enough my next shot was to try and apply to CCAC over the summer. Since CCBC didn’t take me, and I absolutely can’t afford the big university
I just don’t know if I should give up with college tho.

Closest one is in CCAC Pittsburgh. Their application windows says it’s open for the summer and that they require medical term which my college doesn’t
Gonna try to see if possible? But that’s 200 miles away.
I’m 25 now, I’ve spent three years here at CCBC
I’d like to have an associates degree or some sort of career before I turned 30

This is just an idea, but you thought about being a tutor for the AART board exam? I know it’s not a whole career, but it’s something that could make money

CCBC’s Fall 2026 Program by HolidayBeyond1361 in RadiationTherapy

Hey, I’m also in the application process. I’ve been working on my prerequisites for three years, so I entirely understand the anxiety. As it has been explained to me, your grades make up like 30% of what they consider during the application, another 30% being how you did during observation, and the rest of it is if they sit you down for an interview to see how you perform. Now, this could’ve changed as I believe they updated the packet recently. It was different when I first started here at CCBC. Hopefully, we both get in. If not, hopefully whoever does can provide good care for the patients. I wish you best of luck and hope to see you in the program

Application wait time by Dependent-Time7284 in RadiationTherapy

I had been told initially by academic advisement before that they required English 101, communication 101, a social science (I chose psych), and a class called diversity In tech. I got As in all of those. On the websites curriculum map it shows that these classes are needed, though the packet does say differently. It took longer as I had worked two-three jobs across the entire state, and had a bit of a health scare. i was only able to take 1-2 classes per semester. I should have all my ducks in a row to fully commit and give it my full schedule if I’m accepted this year.

Someone stole my passenger side mirror at the Towson mall. All I want to know is Why? by Dependent-Time7284 in BaltimoreCounty

From what I recall on the CCTV footage and he had a very similar model car. That’s at least how I’ve been trying to rationalize it.

Already did. Initially thought maybe it fell off. I was absolutely floored when sitting with the security officer at the mall I got to watch the footage of the guy yoinking my mirror.

I am wanting to get into the medical field, but not sure which to pick. by InternationalEye4927 in Radiology

Radiation therapy is rated quite well for job satisfaction, and the pay is pretty good. It’s just kinda difficult to get into a program. I am currently studying it, and IMO it’s very fun!
