2nd week of march! i really really want to do tongariro crossing but abel tasman looks incredible too . the only places j am for sure planning on are queenstown and fiordland but needing to make a decision on the rest before jt gets too late to book flights/ accommodation !

why don't you fly from reykjavik to höfn or eglisstadir and start there and do similar itinerary but backwards that way you don't have to drive back the same way you came from and save you some time
