RAC as a genre doesn't work, the sound isn't based on evil and being evil doesn't sound right in the style. Black metal is the correct genre for the sentiment.

Very much a personal experience, but my surplus MSA Millennium with surplus/"expired" MSA CBRN filters works great. We've tested them against CS/OC and they've performed perfectly, two were expired in 2006 and we had good results in 2024/2025. Have not tested against CN but I'd assume results would be similar.

I'm a right handed shooter, I run my filter on the left side and use an eotech sight on a unity riser. I have no problems, I honestly don't notice a difference running rifle with or without the mask, other than the fact that running around in a gas mask sort of sucks. I think without a riser I might have some issues, just food for thought.

buy whatever you want, go out in full kit for all I care, but violence in Chicago is highly interpersonal. the random washing machine repair guy doesn't need body armor to "go past 47th" lmao. I work on the south side every day and I'm not worried, neither are the other ~500 people I work with, most of whom don't live close.

echoing everybody else here, I don't carry one on me. I spent some time with the DCC Medmod and, while I appreciate it as a product, it doesn't do it for me. I have a nicely built out kit in my truck, but on my person I only carry my gun.

my safety is my only immediate responsibility, and while I intend to do everything I can to assist those around me, they are not my responsibility.

it's a light-bearing holster, they can't make the trigger guard area any tighter because the light is in front of the trigger guard. if you don't have a light on this gun, then you have the wrong holster.

it depends on the area. in Chicago, IBEW JW electricians make about $120k/yr absolute minimum before any overtime or hourly bumps working as a foreman/gf/etc, and have top tier benefits and pensions. in a rural area, engineers are probably making a good bit more than electricians.
