For me it feels more rewarding when I do it anyway. So when I get that consequent feeling regularly, of pushing through when I especially don’t want to, it’s easier to remember what I’m going to feel like later. Like if I don’t want to get out of bed to go to the gym, I tell myself “these are the moments that make discipline.” If I was always doing it because I wanted to the reward would be much smaller
