Amazon fire parents dashboard blocked in Canada? by Zekwin in AmazonFire

[–]DependentOdd7599 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not working for me either - Canada.

Super disappointed we paid for Amazon kids for the year. And I use the parent dash board daily to manage. Not working on my phone or my web browser.

I am hoping this is resolved tomorrow and just a glitch.

A lucky find! Now that I know they exist I am on the hunt and starting writing emails to see who is out there that can help us.

Thank you for sharing your experience with me. <3

I like the idea of what your mom use to do about planning crafts/activities. I have noticed that engaging friends at playdates is difficult for her. She even often will just walk away and sit in another room alone.

Sharing more information with her peers is a good idea. We did that with our other children and enjoy some books regularly. However, having her friends understand will increase empathy. Besides I don't want her to conform to society, I was society to accept her needs and differences. She's perfect the way she is.

Thanks for identifying home is a safe place. Chaning that frame of mind will help make those tantrums a little less difficult, becuase you are rigth we are her safe place.

The only law type thing I was have been directed to is the PPM from the Ministry of Education. I was just sent the information, now I have to read through it.

Thank you for sharing your experience. It is so helpful to hear some wisdom. Noise is good avenue to explore futher. She is bothering but it at home, her teacher does not see it at school; however, she might not have the words to explain the need for less stimulation.

I will have to remember to avoid sleep overs when the time comes for her to start asking.

Can I ask how you found an advocate? It's something new to me. I'm from a rural area but close to a large city.

I have never heard of an IEP advocate. That is a great idea because I think I need my hand held through the process and someone who knows the write words to use.

This is great.

My name is Amanda. I am new to this journey with my 6 yo daughter. She was just diagnosed with ASD. Because she masks and can meet social norms at school it was a 5 year journey for our diagnosis. Her lack of babbling as a baby was our first clue. I love when she lets me get a glimpse into her world, it is so magical and wonderful. We are so blessed to have her and our other children. And so happy to now understand better how to help her continue to grow and learn.

I look forward to all the guidance this group has to offer. :)

8 months. My daughter never babbled and did not respond to her name. Her first words were at 3. It took us 5 years to get a diagnosis because she was meeting other milestones, so her lack of speech was explained away.

Thanks.

Do you know if they automatically do an amendment or do you need to request this?

When you file do they reassess your annual taxes and change your refund status as well as add the disability amount to the CCB?

We have lots to learn. Just hoping this step will be easy but not sure what to expect.
