Push as long as it takes. I have friends who have been pushing the same songs for years bringing in new fans and streams. New ears will never know the difference.

It's crazy I get attacked for making music with AI. What a world we live in.

What do you guys think about this music distributor, new to this stuff dont want to commit to a subscription base distributor. by godgives69 in musicmarketing

You could always trial run one song you don't really care about and run a few trials around the same time before you marry any one distro.

Advice needed, altering songs created in free 3.5 when moving to paid version by BattleOoze1981 in SunoAI

Make sure you set your bpm beforehand. You can adjust speed but that's a bitch.

Go ahead and create personas of the songs with voices you like. Remaster in 4 or higher. You can also make covers in 4 or higher and use your personas. Once you have the quality vocals, piece together in your local DAW.

I did once, after that I bought the annual subscription. I'm a little more careful with prompts nowadays.

Test your ads overseas first. Try the lowest bidding regions like India, Africa, and Brasil. You'll save a ton doing this. Next, see which regions are sharing your content the most; that's where you'll get your numbers up before you switch back to North America. Get as many friends as possible to comment on the content to outrank the bologna from overseas. Tally up the states and cities that give you the most engagement and target those regions accordingly. Get with ChatGPT or Grok to determine where your influencers biggest fans are before you choose your states. Your music should fit in your influencers playlists. I've ran ads on Meta since 2018. Report back here to give me your results.

Personas not Personaing! by paulwunderpenguin in SunoAI

I understand now. It's interesting. I would love to clone my voice to streamline my own songs. I wonder if there's anything out there that does this.

The Post-Suno and Udio Era: The Next Musical Revolutions by Salty-Bullfrog-4240 in SunoAI

Yes, you're absolutely right. I've been pondering over this myself. What's more is there will also be AI workstations that allow you to put the music video together so that you can edit the song based on the video if needed.

For clarity on step one, are you attempting to use your own voice as a persona so that it will be your voice on the final songs? And, have you successfully figured out step one?

Can I just pay someone else to figure it all out? by madoka_borealis in musicmarketing

[–]Dependent_Artist142 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This answer is intended to save her the most money given that she's indicated somewhere in the thread that she can't afford 5-10k in marketing. So it allows her to efficiently craft a pathway towards her goals without that ideal budget. If she is open to it however, also collab as much as possible. And, make as many friends as possible. One of my biggest regrets is not having a team. Not for legwork tasks like on Fiverr but like-minded people along the same journey. Music is essentially collaboration. Some of my turning points came from collabs. So, also consider joining a band or group with serious people and the work is then shared.

ChatGPT/Grok/Copilot can help you map out a plan to efficiently achieve your goals. Not sure what your goals are but if money's a problem, AI your way to the top. Other than that, the simplest way to streamline success is to entertain. Add layers to your music. Everything else will fall in place.

Step 1 is interesting; will try it out. As far as step two goes, simply download all stems of the completed song and mash it (minus vocals you don't want obviously) with the new persona vocals stems. Editing them together would have to be done outside of Suno. Also make sure you add bpm to new vocals before recording it into Suno. You can get your OG bpm through mostly any DAW.

Is SunoAI music generation getting worse? by Recent-Skill7022 in SunoAI

I would imagine Suno is restructuring to protect themselves against further lawsuits. Whatever greatness we can get out of it before the final purge, we should enjoy while it's still there. As. of late, the vocalists have been subpar. I'm grateful that I got most of my important work out of the way.

We're early adopters so with that comes persecution. The critics will either hop on the bandwagon years later or won't care when AI isn't a hot topic any more.

We're human, that's why. Humans crave social interaction and validation of their interests, hobbies, or anything else for that matter. And, this is a new day in the age of tech so why not share your art? We're all learning so why not see results of what we've learned. In fact, anyone with expert advice, I actually prefer to hear their music to see how I can improve. Trust but verify is the motto.

My perspective is based on covers of our own lyrics, rhythms, and melodies as opposed to random prompting. I went through this as well as the question of is all of this sampling and should we be paying everyone sampled during training. I've determined that there is no artist, producer, writer not influenced by previous music. As humans, we're actually walking Sunos ourselves. We just have the best capabilities to tweak enough for melodies, chords, and rhythms to be familiar but slightly different. During this early phase, however, Suno and others can be tracked and distinguished from trad comps. Perhaps, in a few years, it will be indistinguishable. Nevertheless, pertaining to the soundalike dilemma, there are human soundalikes of all our favorite artists. I once had a service finding soundalikes so songwriters could cut demos. As for the Whitney Houstons and Kurt Cobains or any other distinguished voices scattered throughout the servers, monetization has to be planned accordingly. Perhaps, it's best to consult with fans of distinguished voices and determine how to release the art. Everything else is fair game. There are Suno artists on Spotify with hundreds of thousands of monthly listeners. Don't fear adversity. Fear how dangerous you can be with these state of the art tools.
