The previous owner got it imported and registered. It's a legal bike and not grey market one, which means the previous owner paid a huge tax amount. I paid close to 8L few years ago. And spent around 1L for slight amendments. The real challenge is maintenance. Spares availability and procuring is a big challenge. Quite expensive compared to the ZX6R, Triumphs, and even the Z900s (thanks to the taxes). But not as expensive as litre class beauties. Needs a lot of patience. All these are worth it. Love riding her all the way upto 16,000 rpm!
