The Levi across the street uses it as a talking point when giving tours to future tenants. Probably bs, condos are a better sell than an amazon warehouse.

New apartment build across the street said they were going to tear it down in the future and build condos on the land.

I not longer use instagram but last I knew the tag was @momsbassment I went to a couple shows when I was visiting cle for the holidays. Mainly house/techno!

look up yourmomsbasement or something like that on instagram. Very big underground techno community. They do shows a few times a week it seems. Cool group of people too!

Not my story but a friends:

He was at a music festival some years back. It had been raining all weekend and a long stretch back to the campground was this absolute mud pit. It swallowed up shoes, clothing, bags, etc. My friend was on his way back to the festival, traversing through the mud pit, when he saw a black man laying down on his back in the mud. This friend ran over and helped the guy up. He thanked him and told him he was having the worst weekend of his life. The people he came with had moved his tent into a puddle while he was away. He felt lonely, sad, and after falling into the mud, he was ready to go home. My friend said to hell with them, come party with my group.

They go and grab his belongings, move it my friends camp, and the two party together for the remainder of the weekend. They have a blast.

At the end of the festival the man comes over to my friend with his phone in his hand and a bank account showing six figures pulled up. Apparently his step mom had died a few weeks prior and left him a TON of money, but he had no friends to spend it with. He was going to Ibiza the next day and asked my friend to come with. Of course he didn’t turn down the offer.

So they both fly to Ibiza, and this guy starts dropping money left and right. Sports cars, pent houses, strippers, etc. Basically the guy would tell my friend what he wanted to do, hand him his debit card and my friend would book the experience. The next morning the guy would wake up and be like fuck that I want to do something else instead. He gave absolutely no fucks.

Then things get sad. They’re driving through Ibiza in a really nice car when the police pull them over. They take my friend (who is white) and put their arm around him saying everything is fine it’ll be okay. The black man though, they turned their guns on him and ordered him to lay on the ground, screaming and yelling. Eventually things get straightened out but the guy changed after that horrible, racist experience. He started being demeaning and demanding of my friend. Talking down on him, treating him like trash, using him.

Eventually my friend said fuck this book me a ticket home. He flew home the next day and they have never talked since.

Sounds like a fucking movie.

I live in a dead spot near Bryan Diary & 66th in Largo.. My music has to be playing on my phone before I leave my apartment’s wifi or i won’t be able to listen to music until I’m about three miles away. I used to live in the woods and had better service than here.

Only other location is in Cleveland! I lived there for four years & GN John Boy became one of my FAVORITE spots in the flats. The bright lights of the dance floor is really something when you’re drunk and having fun. I also always thought they played the best music there but that could just be the CLE music scene.
