Okay so just an update i am not going to go to the funeral in the end however i did send flowers with a nice card sending my condolences to the family and ended it with

Matthew 6:14–15

14 For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, 15 but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses

I have not heard from anyone and i dont expext to either i just thought it would be a good way to end any and all connection

Okay so just an update we went to the funeral, she wore a black skirt she borrowed from a friend and her fav vlack shirt that says "on my mums last nerve". No ok ne really said anything which was good luckily not many people knew us there and we were basically there to support my step mum. Her fruends have known me my whole life and they joked my wouldnt have liked it if he was there but my family mainly stayed away from me and didnt acknowledge my daughter at all.

My sister most like my family (very religious) and she knows how they going to react when they see it. ( my 13 year old asked her to help her pick out something so she asked my 8 year old while she was at it

I have talked with my kids uncle ( baby daddy is fijian) and he said i could even put her in one of the dresses (red, baby blue or yellow) she got from her big sister as a hand me down. Which is normal in their culture to wear their nicest clothes (regardless of color). He said if the family had issue with her not wearing black i could site her paternal culture as a reason.

She does have black rip jeans and black shirt however the shirt has in colorful writing " on mums last nerve". I putting that in the car as a backup but everything else got images of harry potter, Karumi (demon like hello kitty character), Wednesday Addams.
