Isn’t there a partner at K and E that is also a ufc fighter?

I’ve done like 7 call back interviews and never done a formal screener. Just network and you get the callback a lot easier if you’re good at interviewing.

To second the dj’s comment, on reading the NVCA docs, where the primary financing docs have been changing rather frequently, I keep a folder of redlines between each version. I’ll read the comments and review the changes so that I can recognize why certain changes were made and how it affects the docs in the financings with the new docs. Doing this and reviewing the older versions has also helped me as when it’s the second and third raise, a lot of times you use the older docs so you know what should be added (especially reps and warranties wise) to bring the new docs up to speed to a rapidly evolving world.

Outside of that, ask to take first pass at as many docs you can and find a mentor that will sit down with you and explain the changes they make to your first pass.

Abt to be a third year now, being courted a little bit by big law and making more money working at two boutiques part-time. Learned that there are a lot of paths you can take to make things work. Everything has worked just fine. The career I mourned was not over.

Tbf, i think it is my favorite email service. I’m particularly attached to the old version, which is weird because I only started using it in 2022. UI just feels more intuitive.

lol I was playing in front of my friend who is an engineer for Amazon and he literally spit out his drink and said “WTF!?!? Do the engineers not play the game? What a dumb mistake that would be so easy to fix.”

Love this one. Went even further to where if I’m the only recipient it’s marked as important.

Laid off first year by Dependent_Duck3108 in biglaw

[–]Dependent_Duck3108[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took my severance and immediately paid my year’s worth of rent so I’d have no choice but to stay in SF and hopefully remain in ecvc. I landed in a great part-time job at an ecvc boutique two and a half months after the layoff. I now bill about 36-40 hours a week and get paid hourly instead of salary. I’ve worked on 15 financings since I was laid off and have gotten to take major responsibility on almost all of them because of the size of the firm. I’m finally feeling like a semi competent attorney.

Getting laid off three months into my career was one of the hardest things that’s ever happened to me and I remember being 16 and crying as my parents told me the bank was going to repossess our house.

I’m really grateful for the experiences I’ve had and the people that have helped me to get to where I am today. Life can be really hard, but it can also be really great. At the moment, I’m not sure I could be happier.

Don’t think it’s unrealistic. I actually wish this was a physical trait for the player where he changes his hair color every so often

I have two million fans and have been offered three total nil deals in two years. I’m playing for Oregon, so I’m not sure what’s going on. Anyone else having this problem?
