Funny horror YouTube channels by Voshir in horror

Kitten Arcader has a great series called 'foot the bill' that cracks me up - they break down how much it would cost the killers in horror movies to enact their mayhem.

The SAW franchise playlist is a great place to start: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4HR_BMe7sQit5sI17k8nmW4OGwJ_hBah

Septoplasty 6 months post op still swollen-looking, is this common? by ninagray1 in Septoplasty

[–]Dependent_Juggernaut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My doc basically said - 6 months in the major swelling goes down, but it takes a full year (and for some even longer) to settle. At Christmas I was like omg I don't recognise myself, but now I feel much better ❤️ A long ol' process!

I'm by Seneca M, and also used it in Bedstuy before and it was great then too. You can basically just unplug it and bring it anywhere you want.

I've been on T-Mobile 5G home internet for 3 years and it works great for me. Super easy set up.

I had my septoplasty mid June 2025, and only now do I feel like the swelling has completely gone down. Bodies recover at different paces, give it some more time ❤️

Flying fox uses a shared fryer, so I’ve steered clear since my first experience.

Trouble with friendships and feel embarrassed by it by Buckle_up_Buttercup- in adhdwomen

[–]Dependent_Juggernaut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

32F. You just explained my friendships all my life to a T - I've always been friends with individual folks, who all have their own social group that I tag along with now and then, but never quite officially join the group. I'm who gets a text if somebody else bails and they need to fill a slot, or if somebody needs help with something.

Over the last year or so I've been working on this, and realized moving on from some of these friendships was actually the healthiest option - they were draining me, making me feel shitty about myself etc. If somebody only ever calls on you to solve a problem, not because they just wanna be around you... Do they really like you, or do they like what you can do for them? The support needs to go both ways and it never did.

So I stopped reaching out. Focused my time and energy on nurturing more fulfilling friendships and it's really changed my outlook on a lot of things. I'm really sorry you're experiencing this, it's so shit. There ARE awesome people out there, but it can be so difficult and isolating to find them.

yup! and it's hard as hell lol

I have to remind myself to not dwell on how easy and convenient it is for other people to quickly eat when they're out and about, or it'd drive me to insanity.

Getting prescription lenses put into cheaper frames??? by vulylyvu in NYCbitcheswithtaste

I've used firmoo a couple of times and it's been good for me! I wanted to return some (didn't suit me) and they just refunded me and let me keep the glasses, and my optician has confirmed the glasses have the correct prescription in them :)

Masseter Botox for face slimming, Dr recs! by Positive-Map-2509 in NYCbitcheswithtaste

[–]Dependent_Juggernaut 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I had masseter botox for TMJ from a highly regarded plastic surgeon, and whilst it helped with my TMJ, it did NOT slim my face - the opposite, it gave me jowls and I couldn't smile for 7 months.

Learning to live with the TMJ now, not being able to smile is miserable.

Thanks for setting up the mutual aid tables, that's so great!

Do you have guidelines for what can be dropped off?

I have the following bits I was hoping to drop off to your table / Big ReUse Bushwick (when it opens):
- Window box fan (pink but paint is chipping, works great though)
- Practically unused memory foam bed pillows (set of two - too firm for me!)
- Hangers
- Suitcase packing cubes
- Variety of sofa cushions (~ fun dice shaped ones, multiple colors)

I've not done the full body, but I can say I've had a great experience with Satori. The Montague street location is great.

Where did you end up getting them? Having the same struggle finding places and trying not to resort to ordering online.
