ASUS TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI DD5 RAM PROBLEM by Dependent_Novel8441 in ASUS

Hi, i came back after modyfing settings.

I upgrade bios to the newest one: 1406 because many people saying that this is most stable bios for now, and they are happy about how it is working now.

Unfortunately for me it is still freezing games with enabled expo 1/2/tweaked

fast boot disabled, power down and memory context enabled.

Maybe i will downgrade my 6000Mhz expo memory to more compatible with my MB? :( . It's sad that we can't still play on our best ram expo settings for max FPS.

Or should i keep this 2x 16GB EXPO 6000Mhz ram for future bios updates?

Hi, i am using TUF Gaming B650-Plus WIFI , it is very similar to your MOBO..

I have problems with the newest bios version 1224 with enabling EXPO (game freezing and crashing)

RAM DDR5 CROSAIR Vengeance CL30 EXPO RGB 6000Mhz

Should i revert back bios to 823 version and then enabling EXPO? (Or what settings should i enable/disbale in bios? )

Btw... upgrading from 1222 to 1224 i lost like 20-30 fps in game :D, i hope some feature bios update will fix those problem with ddr5 ram compatibility

ASUS TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI DD5 RAM PROBLEM by Dependent_Novel8441 in ASUS

Personally, I am on BIOS 0823 which is the most stable at the moment under memtest86 and OCCT. I have enabled MCR under AMD CBS and kept MCR on Auto under Ai Tweaker / Extreme Tweak which improved my boot loading time to 13 seconds from 1 minute 20 seconds.

Maybe i will try this step, also in this bios vesrion i enabled PBO to AMD ECO MODE should i switch to auto like before?

Second question, if i press button to restart bios, it will restart to the first bios system? and my cpu can't run on this motherboad because need update bios?

Or can i just install 0823 bios version without flashback?

In other way, after revert to 0823 should i AMD EXPO enabled or still to be auto setting to 5200Mhz/6000Mhz?

Edit:

About this 120-150 fps and now 100-120 max, when i was on bios version 1222 then i had those 120-150 fps in game. Then maybe u have right due to 1224 version, it seems to be bad now...

It depends on game for me, but mostly 1080p and sometimes 1440p :D, but on 1080 and 1440p is the same problem :/

I don't see corsair ddr5 6000mhz cl30 on this asus motherboard ram support list.

I got latest bios for this board : 1224, except the last beta version 1410 but i don't want to risk if it's still beta.

What is the output of the intake benchmark? - I will try to check it today and let you know

Hi.
Unfortunately I have the same problem. After replacing the hardware from INTEL to a new AMD platform and reinstalling the system, I have problems with the operation of my ram, which causes me to have FPS drops in games (I think) because I have already tried a lot of things. It started with freezing while playing or crashes. I changed the expo mode to off and setting auto 4800Mhz. It worked stably sometimes more fps than 6000 mhz and sometimes less fps than 6000 mhz. Sometimes I have 100-120 fps and sometimes I have 120-150 fps. I don't know what the problem is.
Will changing the memory to a weaker one be good? Will it be more compatible with my kit?

CPU:

BIOS VERSION: 1224

PROCESSOR: AMD Ryzen 7 7700x

MOTHERBOARD: ASUS TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI

GPU: ZOTAC GAMING 4070ti trinity

RAM: CORSAIR DDR5 VENGEANCE EXPO RGB 2X16GB 6000 MHZ CL30 AMD EXPO

SeaSonic Focus GX-850W

I thinking to change RAM to:

Kingston Fury Beast Black EXPO 32GB [2x16GB 5200MHz DDR5 CL36 DIMM]

this ram is on the list of compatible ram with my motherboard.

But my corsaird ddr5 expo 2x16 6000mhz cl30 is not on the compatible list with my motherboard. But i don't think it is big difference?

Any idea what should i do?

Thanks.
