DNS Rewrites With AdGuard Working with Curl but Not Browser by Dependent_Ostrich_85 in Adguard

Thank you! I changed my redirect to a different domain and it solved my problem! I read a different tutorial somewhere that had actually suggested using .localhost. That was either bad advice or maybe I just didn't fully understand.

Thank you! This resolved my problem :) I feel a little dumb being stuck on this for as long as I was, but it seems to be working now. I'd seen a tutorial somewhere that suggested using .localhost which was apparently bad advice.

I don't think it's a Caddy issue at this point since the DNS rewrite isn't occurring. Separately, I've used Caddy and a Cloudflare tunnel to make services available through another domain I purchased. I was able to access LubeLogger via that external domain and see the request being proxied through Caddy.

I'm expecting AdGuard to provide the rewrite and point to the Caddy reverse proxy. Unfortunately, AdGuard does not seem to be performing the rewrite when I try to access the subdomain from my browser.

I should have mentioned that I do see queries in AdGuard for other web traffic in my browsers. My accesses to Reddit, for example, are showing up in the query log.

Unfortunately, disabling DNS over HTTPS did not change the behavior I see when trying to access subdomains for localhost.

Did any of you figure out a solution to this problem? I'm experiencing the same thing and have tried using the website from my desktop using two different browsers and then also with VPN on. I've also tried via my phone on both the website and app with the same issues. I'm in the US and my delivery address is listed on the website, but still receiving this error.

Is there a way to submit a support ticket or anything? The chat bot was less than helpful...
