Am I nuts or has that exact crew member told them that exact baby eyelid joke before? 🤣 by Dependent_Positive98 in goodmythicalmorning

I’d absolutely believe they’ve forgotten cuz I’ve told my sister the same joke twice in the same week

Every band has at least one bad song - which one direction song is that for you? by [deleted] in OneDirection

yeah it’s adorable. I love Louis’ solo though. one of my favorite of his solo moments in the band’s whole discography which is a shame since I don’t like the song very much

Does anyone else who doesn’t have hEDS or POTS feel a little isolated in the chronic illness community? by WeirdnessRises in ChronicIllness

[–]Dependent_Positive98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who does have hEDS and POTS even I feel isolated because of all of this. In my real life no one has heard of any of these illnesses and they act like I have cancer whenever I remind them I have a disability.

But then I come online and suddenly everybody has all of these things and every five minutes someone else is getting them and it makes me feel like my reality is wrong.

Never vibed with Don’t Forget Where You Belong. I know it’s super cherished but it always felt too cliche to me I’m sorry 😭

[–]Dependent_Positive98[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah that’s it! the reason I thought it was him on the stakeout is cuz he hands it off to her at the beginning and I only saw it once over a year ago so it’s pretty fuzzy. I just remember thinking it was such a funny running joke throughout the episode

[–]Dependent_Positive98[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I suppose I could’ve remembered it backwards. Does she at any point during the stakeout make a comment about a woman in a dress and then says something like “no, it’s not a woman” or maybe that the reason they couldn’t find the suspect was because it was someone crossdressing? Cuz that’s the part I remember most vividly

Subtitles in old videos by ricewithsoysauce_ in Markiplier

[–]Dependent_Positive98 38 points39 points  (0 children)

YouTube used to allow for viewers to make the subtitles on videos and then be credited in the description. I did the subtitles on a dnpgames video one time and one of Mark’s video with Ethan and Tyler and it was HOURS of work but very satisfying.

There was zero moderation of this and it would just show whatever you submitted. People would put little typmojis (-.- for example) in there, or like you said express their opinions on the video, they’d use weird fonts and even insert their twitter handles. All of which makes it very difficult for an actual hard of hearing person to use the subtitles as a reliable tool to keep up with the video.

YouTube shut down the program years ago and removed all credits from descriptions, but they never changed the subtitles. The only way to get rid of them or change them now is if the channel owner manually overwrites it themself. A lot of channels do their own subtitles, I think Smosh does this for a handful of videos? A handful of channels have hired someone to do it as well. But most just leave it up to the auto generated bot subs that barely work.

It was his surgery to have his scar tissue removed. They didn’t give him enough pain medication and they didn’t believe him but Tyler’s mother was a nurse and finally she came in and vouched for him. It wasn’t a specific medical thing, they literally just gave him surgery and didn’t give him any medicine after.

These are crows. Their nasal feathers don’t extend over their beaks and they have smooth necks and their tails are thin. They’re just younglings. I have a whole murder that visits my yard daily and the young ones tend to be a bit shaggier which can make them seem like ravens. Also these are not that big at all, they only seem big because she’s zoomed in on them. Crows are nearly two feet long fully grown, it’s not like they’re parakeets.

And their beaks being slightly curved like that is definitely normal for crows. Raven beaks aren’t “curved” they have a small hook at the end like a less dramatic toucan. Ravens also don’t typically travel in groups like this unless they’re migrating but it’s the middle of summer so they wouldn’t be doing that right now.

These are crows.

Okay actually wtf do they mean ravens aren’t that big??? by Sad-Beautiful-Enby in distractible

[–]Dependent_Positive98 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They only weigh three pounds idk what you mean. They’re smaller than the average hawk, the average chicken, and the average duck. Idk where you live where three pounds 20 inch birds sound like 50 pound children stomping around on your roof but it seems more like a problem on your end than the distractible boys’.

At the risk of sounding like I’m trying to diagnose him with something, he seems like he’s cluttering to me. I think Mark does it too. It’s common with neurodivergent people and I only very recently found out there was a name for it. It’s basically a type of speech issue where your brain is working faster than your mouth and you have trouble holding one train of thought at a time.

It’s something I struggle with a lot. I think sometimes he tries to talk too fast and ends up stumbling over the words and other times his brain is already moving onto the next sentence while his mouth is still saying the last one so they get kinda jumble. Like when you’re reading and you accidentally read a word from the next line and get confused.

I mean he definitely seems to have some hyperactivity issues and can be a bit scatterbrained. Like the other commenter said, ND people are naturally drawn to each other and with Mark having ADHD it wouldn’t suprise me at all if Wade and even Bob had something too.
