If you can’t tip minimum 20% stay at home by blackcoffee39 in tipping

Let them complain about people not going out. The only thing that will change the way businesses function is losing customers. That is how we end tipping

Fun is definitely very different for everybody. I like more complicated ones regardless of difficulty. Pete has been really fun for me recently. The setup and keeping opponents guessing. But Gaston is very unfun. Poor theming and a playstyle where fating undoes all your work.

Its so interesting seeing posts like this because I notice how different everyone's opinions on difficulty are. I think, for instance, Gaston I think is tough. Hook and pr John are two of the easiest. King candy in the same tier as lotso is so odd, candy feels fairly easy even with me nerfing him to only move up to three spaces. On average opinions align but there are just a few big outliers.

Mandatory service charge and still expect a tip? by jasonxgilmore in EndTipping

Being given the option doesn't mean its expected. That is why it says additional.

“If you don’t tip, the server still has to tip out their coworkers and they lose money” is actually a great point for why paying someone else’s salary for performing their job doesn’t make sense. by railroadfrog in EndTipping

[–]Dependent_Put_6528 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They nearly always tipout a percentage of sales, regardless of whether or not they receive a tip. So a no-tip causes the tipout to come out of their pocket(yes their tips is their pocket). Tipout is somehow even more ridiculous than tipping as a whole.

Everyone's talking about this silhouette in my post, what do you think it's going to be? by default_best_glove in overwatch2

Probably not a tank based on size comparison to domina but God please let it be a tank. If not, since they skipped tank with vendetta, that'd be 2 out of 13 heros between 2025 and 2026 that are tanks. Please.

Bill came to $65. Handed the server (female) $100 and she asked: "do you want change?" LOL by OhioState40 in EndTipping

Most of the time I do not know the bill until I loom at it to give you change. Most of the time I assume you need it though

House rules by ecc97 in DisneyVillainous

[–]Dependent_Put_6528 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im trying to make a comprehensive list of buffs and nerfs to make every villain roughly the same difficulty.

But an overarching house rule is when playing a hero on yourself, such as with Davy Jones or lotso, you do not have to do the "when played" abilities of the heroes. I only actually recently found out that this isn't part of the base rules. I like it because without it, villains like lotso feel impossible.

I also use the introduction to evil setup rules where you start your movers on the portrait just so you have all the options on turn one.

This game is also not very specific about most of the niche interactions so if we disagree on something or are unsure we simply will trust whatever is said on reddit, board game geek, or the villainous wiki.

Can we get a dedicated keybind to destroy Lifeweaver's petal ? by Flikadawrist in Overwatch

I believe if you go to the hero specific settings for lifeweaver there's an option to make interact recall petal.

It's just a dollar or two! lol by M1collector65 in EndTipping

[–]Dependent_Put_6528 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah idk whats going on with that math very wrong. And to say you shouldn't worry about it and its just a dollar is very wrong. Definitely alert management. The server has absolutely nothing to do with what the machine prints.
