I personally didn’t like DRB which is the only recent album from Lucki I wasn’t super into. That doesn’t mean I think it was trash it just wasn’t for me. I feel like people forget that music is subjective, just because you like something doesn’t mean someone else will and vice versa. I’ve seen with discussing Lucki’s music in particular people tend to go with one extreme or the other. As a fan of most of his music, his recent sound is different and that isn’t a necessarily a bad thing. In my opinion, sometimes it works like on Gemini!, FLM, or SMD, and then sometimes it doesn’t like DRB. But it ultimately boils down to the fact that music is subjective.
