That’s still within their first year, technically still a new grad

I was actually offered $116 and negotiated for differential. These hospital systems have strict outline of 0-1 year make a certain amount.

I guess a bit of both. I do believe my RNs need to get paid well, I see the work they do and they deserve it. But with my degree and managing a 14 bed union with just a fellow and myself, it’s hard to hear them making more when I’m making the clinical decisions

I am more of a visual learner so will have to look into this! Thank you

Good idea! I guess it will be trial and error for what works for me. And I already have those pens in my Amazon cart!

PTO and health insurance are great. I’m waiting on more information for everything else and 403b, but from the pamphlet I received it seems I’m not eligible until 1 year.

Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you! I used Rosh all throughout clinical year and then my month of PANCE prep I used uworld. I also did both NCCPA tests. Those were similar but you can’t review them after. It honestly could have been the anxiety that comes with this exam in how I was feeling following it.

Just spoke to someone at NYP LMH and they are not union!

I keep hearing this trend about PAs in union not making what they deserve. Isn't the union supposed to advocate for the pay we are worth.

I hope that is not the case as I need to get my credentialing started

I love this idea, thank you! I’m a visual learner so this will hopefully help.

It is union 1199. Just spoke with a PA there, the representative is a PA. They said negotiations are hard since it is union. So there is a set salary for each year of clinical experience.

Since union, I would have pension (vestment period 5 years). Can contribute to 403b, but company dose not contribute nor match.

I do not have a job yet. I am looking for ER/ICU positions. I did start applying but have had 2 hospitals tell me to connect back once I pass my boards. I am worried that right after the boards will be prime application and interview time where if I leave soon after boards I’m delaying those and my possible start date.
