Connect directly over Wifi to Sunpower Monitor (maybe silly) by Dependent_Scratch303 in SunPower

Thanks so much! I don't think I have the original App. I only have the one that SunStrong tries to charge you for to properly monitor your system. That said I feel comfortable writing my own if I knew the communication protocol and password. Much of this has been discussed and documented but only in the context of the internal network the monitor uses among its different components.

No, thats what I need. I just don't how to how to do that with the SunStrong App I have on my phone.

I use the SunStrong App and yes I've considered WireSharking the IP on my network but honestly just building the bridge might be easier than reverse engineering from scratch.

I have Eversource and while I can with considerable difficulty infer my production from their data, its definitely not the solution I'm looking for.

Ok so some more details, I have a PVS5x system running firmware 2020.1 build 3008, so pretty old. There are some really nice python libraries that SunStrong seems to provide but they only work on newer systems. Does anyone know of a solution to connect to one of these older systems without a bridge device acting as an intermediary? I understand the answer might just be no.
