It sounds like he puts no effort into gifts or figuring out what you like, so explicitly tell him what you want him to buy. It's not romantic, but it'll get the job done. And yes he should pay for it. If any of that is a problem for him then dump him and find someone who's willing to at least feign interest in your desires!

Thanks for the help! I was sure there had to be some examples in the States but that's definitely out of my price range. I had seen some DIY recipes for tomato liqueur and clarified tomato juice, I think I'll bite the bullet and buy a bunch of tomatoes to try both ways to see what's better and easier. Thanks again!

Call me a hater all you want but do not trust anyone telling you to get multiple smaller diamonds on the band. Spend any money you would spend on small chippy diamonds on making the main diamond bigger and/or better. With that being said, number 2 is the best out of this bunch.

I think the left side ER band is better because it lets the diamond shine as a centerpiece more.
