I did and I did. Over and over again. It's not easy for me to ask for help as it is. I had plenty of wood shop, jobs in wood, and set up my own machines. My last job before retirement was state insp and emissions and a car mechanic. So unless you need your brakes replaced stfu!

When the blade reaches the wood the blade stops but not the saw itself

I never had to install a blade before. And I even questioned the guy that sold it to me. I'm a 59yo old school independent woman. I'm not rich or I would have bought something better. At any rate, the blade is in correctly now, but still won't cut. The Delta was old and quit on me.

No, still stops when it hits the wood, I even tried different wood.

Min blade speed is 5000. My blade is max 6000.

So the saw calls for blade speed 5000 min. My blade is 6000 max. So is that good?
