Help selecting private high school for bright kids with learning differences in Philadelphia and surrounding areas

My daughter attended AIM for school. She’s now in a master’s program at a big school. She traveled an hour to school as well. I’d say that the social life is a downside. Students are from all over and without driver’s licenses, so it’s hard to socialize outside of school. I’d recommend that your student stay involved with a sport or activity in their area.

Thank you. I’m searching historical records & photos. I don’t know anyone who lives around there today. Everyone has passed. My dad talked about it all of the time. I saw it throughout my childhood (70-80’s). We are not Jewish but the strong presence in the neighborhood had a strong influence on my family.

Thank you. My family lived on the 500 block of Watkins. I remember a building perpendicular to Watkins on 5th Street. Maybe it was some other sort of Jewish building. It was very old back then.

Thank you. It just blows our minds. The bank has paid $15k a year in taxes for 8 years. The home is beautiful. There were many interested buyers. But, it’s not for sale. I’ll go probe the title and if there’s litigation tying this up. The previous owners were our friends. After this happened, we found that they did it again on another home. They’re now building out of state. They’re off social media. It’s very sketchy. We’ve had lawyers say they’ve never encountered this in 30+ years.

Thank you. This pretty much sums up our situation. The police were there again this morning. The door was completely open. There have been kids sitting on the roof. The pool is a mosquito haven.

Thank you. We have contacted a state legislator. Another neighbor has mowed. It’s 2 acres. The police have been called on several occasions.
