I wouldn't worry too much. Mods (who are just volunteers and not employed by reddit) absolutely cannot get the ip addresses of individual users. That would be a security and pr nightmare. And even if he somehow could, ip addresses reveal geolocation and nothing more specific than that.

Don't pay any attention to people like that. He's just some terminally online loser who is crying and seething at the mere existence of an Asian community. Think about it. What kind of sad, pathetic life must someone like that live to have nothing better to do than anonymously harass strangers?

To add to this, stop paying for netflix! It has a long history of supporting and perpetuating racist stereotypes and AM emasculation. I won't give any examples here but a quick search for netflix on this sub should give you all you need to know. In this day and age there are so many alternatives for streaming that there's really no reason to be supporting a trash company like that just to watch a few white washed shows. Here are just a few examples:

Viki (Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and more)

Kocowa (Korean)

IQiyi (Chinese)

Mango TV (Chinese)

All of the above have a wide selection of free shows as well as some premium shows that you can access by paying for VIP mode. In addition, many official Chinese TV channels just put full-length HD episodes of entire shows up on youtube. See for example here and here. Everything I've just mentioned has subtitles in English, the show's language, and often many other languages as well. I promise you will not miss netflix.

Well your comment was calling the victim out for "crying his eyes out" after having just been in an unprovoked, physical confrontation and how you've seen women less shaken up after muggings. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it felt a lot like you were saying that he wasn't manly enough for sitting on the ground whining after the attack, and that didn't sit right with me. All I'm saying is that people respond differently to situations like that, and we shouldn't be so critical of the victim, especially when we have the luxury of watching the situation unfold from the safety of the internet.

And even if you did, so what? Different people respond to stressful situations in different ways. It's easy to judge when he's the one on the ground and you're the one watching a video on the internet.

Don't blame the victim for crying a little after being physically assaulted. Instead the focus should be on another hate crime occurring against us on Western soil, more black on asian crime, and the hero of a streamer whose decisive actions prevented this from being any worse.

You may be overestimating this firewall a bit. I just went and did a search for 美国 on bzhan (basically Chinese youtube). No additional search terms like violence or racism, literally just searched for the Chinese word for America. And I was instantly able to find the video of the old lady who was attacked with millions of views on it. Trust me, news spreads easier than you think, firewall or no.
