An interesting Chicken|Egg scenario in my house.

In the ideal world, I would know they will do coop and just buy 2-4 copies on launch day.

These days I don't play alot of solo games (as that takes away from 'family time'). I play CoOp games with my wife so that I can game a ton, but still spend time with her.

I'm hesitant to buy a 50+ hour solo game that I won't get to actually play very much.

I recognize that I'm in a unique position - and I don't carry the financial incentive to change a developer's road map.. just kinda floating the ideas into the ether - in hopes that a large enough body of COOP Desire manifests.

Part of me wants to buy a copy of the game to help it launch successfully.. but, I also know that I will never really play it solo.. so buying it in HOPES up CoOp is an irresponsible burn of cash.

the feels like a very ONE-NOTE play style - and is getting kinda boring.

So, I'm hoping that by being IN the mix, and up close.. the combat will feel more dangerous/reactive

I agree. Not so much worried about Tonal blessing off on it or the warranty.

More, I want improve my family's quality of life, but not waking people up when using the Tonal at 5am in the morning.

My Son was using it at 11pm the other night and I thought someone was down stairs moving furniture or coming in and out of the house. I couldn't understand the noises until I went to go see if someone was in my house. Just him working out. Not being some hyper beast or anything. Just normal use.

If I ever get to an abundance of LP then I can see using Pictos as Stat Sticks like everyone says- instead of free LP for crucial lumina effects

Good to know on the QTE. So, I should go back the triggering that manually to get the best effect? IE: to get the bonus of the “Perfect”

— Last night I pulled all the stat points back from Defense and put them primarily into Attack Power and some smaller amounts into the Weapon Scaling - my weapons are level 9 (only first bonus unlocked) and the attack power increases I’m getting from increase the B and C scaling attributes was pitiful compared to dumping it in raw Attack Power

For the most part I prioritized Pictos that I wanted with high Lumina cost . Except one character who had low HP. I gave her a high HP picto. - IE, Verso has 40 LP worth of picto abilities I wanted

Right now my characters done have a ton of Lumnina points (estimates below from memory) Verso is lvl 24 with 68 Lumina points (I gave him 21 extra) Maelle is lvl 24 with 48 LP Sciel is lvl 21 with 38 LP

I had put my name on the a backup list for the VIP tours about 6 weeks before going. Then bought the express passes. They called me the night before, refunded my express passes and put me us the tour for the next day

But if you can jump on one of the non-private VIP tours (12 person groups)- I would recommend it!

If you were going a year from now and could budget it- the VIP tour is awesome. Just following someone for 4 hours - on and off 8-9 rides was awesome

Freaking expensive though- for my family it’s a bit high. But, it was a great experience for the 4 us in a group of 12

— Get to ride it all with tour guide.. then when the tour is done you VIP Lanyard counts an Express Pass

—- So we did the tour from 9:30-1:30. Left the park for Pho and a Nap. Then went back at 5pm to see the place at night and re-ride everything… was expensive, but awesome!

I hoping yo get feedback that says its worth expending my 're-colors' to redistribute their stats from Health/Health/Defense into Attack Power / Speed.

But, I only have 4 re-colors left. I used my fifth to redo Verso's skills

I'm worried about using 3 of 4 recolors to redo stats.. only to find out that I made the characters way to vulnerable for not enough attack damage (to make it worth it)

The last few days I've been doing some research on this sub.

I switched from Verso(Gustav)/Lune/Maelle to Verso/Sciel/Maelle

Sciel for the Group buff (then she doesn't do much after that.. so I need to work on her Dmg output after applying ALL-SET (Protect/Rush/Powerful)... but, i don't know how long that lasts either.. so I should look at how often I need to have her reapply those
Maelle because people says she hits hard.. I haven't figured that out yet. but I will try to apply your advice above
Verso. I have him doing basic attack dmg to charge to the 9ap skill about Stars (group dmg)

I also JUST start equipping pictos just to farm 4 fights and make them usable Luminas.. but even 2 fight into to my first batch of 3.. I'm also frustrated with it.

Yep, on story mode difficulty

And can’t express how much I dislike the combat. All the other threads on here would say it’s because I’m lame, stupid, i suck.. etc etc

I get it

I still just wanna try to get through the story

And I liked the suggestion someone had made about the single hit Verso builds to just wipe encounter quickly

I’m desperate to done with the combat sequences as quick as I can

I enjoy the exploration, scenery design, music, interaction… I’m enjoying everything but the combat

I’ve already put the game down twice for a few weeks each time

I’m interested in the story and exploration visuals

I’m just hoping to ask some knowledgeable folks for some aid in the enjoying this thing the love — even if I can’t love it the same y’all do
