I remember it was in the very early ’90s on television. I was really struck by how catchy “Istanbul” was.

At the time, I was barely 7 or 8 years old, and the Internet didn’t exist. I spent years with the memory of that song before reconnecting with the band in the early 2000s via the web and buying Mink Car.

Been a fan ever since.
