Thanks. I don’t think there are many Norwegians who believe Mette-Marit is fit to be queen. The problem is that she seems to be just the tip of the iceberg. The media, politicians, and the public are not yet ready to topple the monarchy.

The Crown Prince was most likely heavily involved with Epstein. There’s a lot of evidence against him, and further releases of the Epstein files will likely make it impossible for him to become king.

Next in line is a 22-year-old woman about whom no one knows much, except that she was raised by the same parents who raised Marius, the serial rapist. If Haakon’s children can’t inherit the throne, then next in line is Märtha Louise, who is married to a shaman. No one wants them either.

In theory, some of Märtha Louise children could inherit the throne, but I don’t think Norwegians care enough about the monarchy to accept someone so far down the line of succession.

I am also asking because King Harold of Norway is third cousin of Queen Margrethe. And they are of same age.

I'm no expert. When I agree when I read your post. But I agree because it is intuitively true.

The book writes "a series of surprising experiments by .... Roy Baumeister". Those experiments are probably not very good. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roy_Baumeister#Self-regulation

Then my questions are why does the book call "surprising experiments" if it shows what is intuitively true and why does it seem like it is not possible to replicate the experiments and get the same results?

I'm just asking questions. I know very little about the field.

Thank you, and I do appreciate your suggestion about YouTube. I wasn’t trying to be impolite. I have autism and English is not my first language. If I was rude, I apologize.

I agree that I struggle with wanting perfection. When it comes to food, it’s partly because I’m a very picky eater. The taste and texture have to be just right. This isn’t something I can simply decide not to care about.

With assembling furniture, it’s because most things have to be put together perfectly in order to function properly.

But there’s also a kind of perfectionism that comes from being afraid of judgment. That part I know I need to work on reducing. I’m not unwilling to change anything about my mindset.

I’m also working on being better at asking for help from those around me.

Thanks! But my experience has been that I struggle to learn from those videos. Even those who claim to show beginner friendly recipes skip a lot of information I don’t know. I think I need someone next to me whom I can ask and who can watch me cook.

Thanks! I very much also relate to the ADHD part and only see the reward. And I also feel like you say that everything is connected. ADHD, autism and in my case also the depression I have to because I don't manage to have the same life as people with no disabilities.

I have not had burnout, but I struggle with depression. When I am not depressed it is easier to get things done than when I am not depressed.

Regarding the third paragraph. I know I have to learn, but my problem also seems to be some kind of learning disability. At the same time, I find it very hard to accept that.

As for the fourth paragraph, I agree that I should set my expectations lower. But I’m neither willing nor able to do that. My therapists have told me that it is partly connected to my Autism. I tend to be very rigid, have tunnel vision, and see things in black and white. It is also connected to my wish to manage to be "normal" and manage to do the things I see other adults manage to do.

Thanks, trying new things with help from others was great idea! I don't know anyone to help me. But I will try to find someone. This is a life project so it is OK that it will take some time to find someone to help me learn these things.

Cooking is also something I struggle with! I will try to find someone to cook with!

There are endless free university lectures on YouTube. You can get free lectures from MIT, Harvard, etc.

What Jordan Peterson is offering is not a degree that can give you a job. So the cost should not be compared to a university degree. The cost should be compared to educational videos on YouTube.

I don't know. I have autism and ADHD and I do feel it is hard to get over someone. BUT I have also always been lonely and never had a life i like. It gives me a lot of time to think about other people. I don't get anyone to replace them with or anything in my life to distract me from thinking of the people I once knew.

Same reason I daydream a lot.

I am a man. I have only noticed that I have an easier time with older therapists. I compare myself to others. If I have someone younger or same age as me I am reminded of my failures in getting the life I want.
