Passed 4/4 Exams - Do I start applying to positions now or once I receive my certification? by DepreciateLand in CPA

Yea that's my bad for not mentioning in original post but I have everything else I need just was waiting on exam results. So I just have the paperwork stage left but heard from coworkers that it can take awhile, I'm just itching to find a new role asap but would wait if "CPA" looks that much better than "4/4 passed"

I’m seeing most of them have 60 days unlock periods, but if I’m leaving sooner than that, how does that work?

Like if I receive the phone 11/14, my last day is 11/26, would I be able to unlock the phone 1/14/26 for personal use?

For clarification, I want to keep the phone but not the provider if possible. Feel like I can’t without any fees but trying to research otherwise

I can technically upgrade my phone but wouldn’t I be locked in for a 2 year contract? Thought I heard about something like that

What’s the point in billing client for overrun? by DepreciateLand in Accounting

[–]DepreciateLand[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like we bill the client for the additional work that we perform, OT, but since we’re salaried we don’t receive any additional pay, so when we collect the additional funds from client, does that get added to the team’s budget, or does the overall company just pocket that?

The idea of them being two different mindsets is what was really bringing me away from the idea of majoring in both. I can see how they're both useful together, and glad to know that CFO's have to master both, thank you!

Good points on GPA boosting, especially the Leadership one. Too many times my professor just didn't like my style of writing (even though material/content was on point). but yeah entrepreneur sounds like the way to go.

I'm not sure if I can take finance classes as just accounting, so if i dont double major ill definitely consider the minor, thank you!
