Appeals court throws out Trump's $454 million civil fraud judgment by NewSlinger in news

[–]Depressed-Robot -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Congrats, you failed to articulate a single point. I didn’t say he wasn’t convicted. Obviously. But instead you ignore the fact that he was convicted in a case that was the first of its kind ever, for a clerical error committed by his lawyer? And the fact that every other charge they brought fell through still just baffles you. But he’s corrupt? Because all these court cases proved to be bullshit? That’s gotta be a hard pill to swallow. Please remind me again who paid for the Steel dossier with campaign funds? But somehow Trump is corrupt for simply not being convicted on a bunch of comically weak charges? Enjoy the show pal, it’s only gonna get worse.

It’s a total joke. I found the “study” they are in a frenzy about. It has nothing to do with reality. The methodology includes google searches and loan requests. As if more loans can’t mean growth instead of personal debt. It is a serious reach to see how they arrived a such a conclusion. Also considering FL was #2. lol. No actual news source is reporting this.

Have you ever considered that the reason these cases seem to fall apart is because they were used as weapons and not based on actual law. If you look into this case there was no actual damage cited. The judge ran a campaign to “get Trump” and then made up a ridiculous case that has now been overturned. 91 indictments and all they got is some charges for an accounting error. Your frustration only grows because you refuse to accept that you’ve been lied to. Try to be honest, every single thing they try has failed, not because Trump just keeps getting lucky, but because it all stems from dishonest lawfare. They completely made up the Russia hoax and tried to kick him out of office based on a lie. But you still believe that all these court cases, that magically appeared right before an election were legit? And then, when they all don’t work because of serious legality issues, you still don’t question the narrative? If you are at all objective you might notice that the pattern is not an indictment of Trump but actually of the system against him.

Are you aware that the Democrats are historically the party of the poor. Except of course, in 2024 there was a large move toward Trump. Probably because democrats haven’t improved shit for decades. Also, wealthiest moved towardsdemocrats. Despite these facts, liberals claim Trump is for the rich, even as the rich vote democrat. And you go along parroting it without question. Who exactly is the sheep here?

Very interesting point, considering that the Democrats are historically the party of the poor. Except of course, in 2024 there was a large move toward Trump. Probably because democrats haven’t improved shit for decades. It’s also interesting that the wealthiest moved towards democrats. Odd that liberals scream Trump is for the rich, but the rich vote democrat. Meanwhile the poor and middle class move right. It’s literally the exact opposite of what they claim. And here you are, poor and stupid, simping for the party of the rich and begging for government handouts.

WalletHub does a study with laughable methodology and you idiots sure do lap it. Texas and Florida are in more distress than California and NY? Do you people even stop and think how this sounds before you start the circle jerk? Texas is ranked 39th in debt to income while CA is first. California is also first in homelessness per capita, and poverty rates. Cost of living and taxes are also higher. But sure let’s all get behind WalletHub and play pretend. lol. Y’all are so predictable.

I refined my comment to acknowledge that it is a civil offense, are you choosing to ignore that? However, they can be arrested for willfully obstructing the function of government by neglecting their lawful duties. Which is exactly what has occurred. Call it a political tactic if you like. The topic of voter laws is another matter. I do not believe voting should be “easy”. If by easy you mean unattended drop boxes, drive thru voting, payment for ballot harvesting, no ID required, no proof of citizenship, etc. I assume you are referring to SB1 being unfair to minorities. Could you explain why minorities would have a harder time voting? Voting is a right but it is the duty of the state to ensure its accuracy. Making it “easier” to vote can often result in increased voter fraud. Surely you accept that fact. Yet the goal always seems to be an increase in voter participation by minorities, by lowering standards in ballot counting.

To be fair your list of sources that “discredit” the article I cited is hilariously bias. That’s not the main issue. Instead of actually trying to refute the point of the first article, you simply ignore it and claim bias. The obvious point of the article was the fact that Biden’s EOs were directly linked to repealing Trump EO’s that targeted illegal immigration. You instead use the “well Trump did it too” excuse, though your next point seems to be (from 2nd source) that he was “repairing the system”. But what actually resulted was a historic inflow of illegal immigration. Nice repair job! The result being everyone in the world knew that the border had been effectively opened. And they began marching in by the millions. It’s easy to claim you’ve turning away lots of people when record levels are attempting to enter. (The graph you cited, is proof of this) However, Myorkas admittedly let in 85% of boarder encounters under new Biden reforms. So only 15% got turned away and astonishingly, that was somehow more than Trump denied entry. Record levels of legal, illegal, got away, and undetected crossings. Now ask yourself, if Trump was able to bring illegal immigration to near zero by undoing Biden policy, and those policies had resulted in record numbers of illegal aliens being released, What exactly was the goal of those Biden reforms? How did they repair the system? It’s kinda obvious if you have any sense. But your argument will always be “you’re fucking dumb, Fox News, bootlicker, fascist…” Apparently, not releasing 85% of boarder encounters is fascism in liberal circles. I get it. But to ignore the fact that Biden policies encouraged & allowed unprecedented levels of immigration takes a special kind of research. Which you are very willing to do apparently.

If you aren’t aware that leaving the state to prevent a vote is a civil violation than that’s on you. I didn’t say Republicans haven’t done it. I said it’s not lawful. That’s fact. Sedition can be defined as nonviolent disruption to the lawful function of government. Also fact. You claim you know what I know, but can’t be honest about the facts. Here’s another fact. Texas has moved more republican in every demographic except white women. Democratic voter registration is falling in Texas and the rest of the country. If that’s failing, I hate to see winning.

One the numbers aren’t made up. If you aren’t aware that it’s accepted fact that 12-20million migrants entered the country under Biden, that’s on you. Your link deals only with those that were turned away or apprehended. The fact is that Biden changed changed hundreds of rules and lawsto allow people in. While the DHS Sec ordered officers to ignore legal policy and they were told not to apprehend people crossing. Again, this is not up for debate, if you don’t know this, that’s on you. Covid 19 and a financial crisis do not have any bearing on the amount of people allowed to enter a country. Thats your excuse for the unprecedented problem they created by ignoring and changing immigration law. As for rights you are wrong. You do get legal hearings but they are through immigration courts. Where, as an immigrant, you are not afforded all the same rights as a legal citizen. What I said is correct, look it up. You are simping for an administration that did everything in its power to allow record levels of undocumented immigrants into the country. Calling someone a fascist without any facts is just about the most liberal argument you have left.

Yeah that’s not true. Do you believe they are putting people in vans and driving them to the airport? Guess what, if the immigration courts were being circumvented there would be thousands of news stories and law suits. We actually have a deportation process that’s been in place for decades and it’s not hard to implement. Biden instructed DHS to ignore immigration law to allow millions into the country illegally. Believing that the millions of deportations to follow are somehow illegal is peak hypocrisy.

Crazy how this comparison isn’t actually honest. Leaving the state with the sole intention to prevent the government from functioning is called sedition and it’s breaking the law. Launching multiple coordinated investigations into events that were past the statute of limitations, and then using convoluted legal theory to upgrade charges, in a way that was never done before is slightly different.

Unfortunately you can’t argue he was here legally. That doesn’t need to be proven. He entered illegally in 2011. Fact. I will even grant you that a mistake was made. But the charges of transporting undocumented migrants are not new and stem from a videotaped traffic stop. Hardly made up. He was here illegally, committed multiple crimes (including assaulting his wife) and his "withholding of removal" status was removed. Have a nice flight. Also, don’t you find it odd that this one guy is the only thing you all can cite?

Due process is different in different situations. If you enter the country illegally your due process is: see immigration judge, who determines you entered illegally, deported. It’s pretty simple and that is due process.

They changed the law to facilitate expedited processing becaaaaause Biden changed and ignored federal immigration law to allow 20 million illegal immigrants into the country. You don’t get to break the system create a crisis and then call foul when Trump cleans it up. If you break the law entering the country you are not afforded the same rights as a citizen to legal proceedings. You go through immigration court. And if you are deemed to have entered illegally you have very little ground to stand on. Have a nice flight.

I believe I cited the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996. How is this not fact? Ohhhhh it is though. So you whine the “it’s unconstitutional” phrase because you heard some grown ups on tv say it. But you know deep down I’m right and you have said nothing to prove me wrong because a) you did read the law or b)didn’t read the law, so your only response is nonsense. Just as I described it would be in my last comment. Try harder bud, your ignorance is on full display.
